Glad that you had a great time, 5's all around!
Neil and Linda made us feel at home. Their little slice of heaven cabin just makes you connect to the beautiful landscape that is Yellowstone. While we were at the cabin, my two teen daughters need their wifi at the end of the day and along with that and all other kitchen amenities, everything was perfect! We wish Neil and Linda all the best for the future and they will be our preferred stay when we come back for a re-visit.

Thank You Ted, It was wonderful to be able to host you this year for your time in Paradise Valley MT!
This property was a little jewel! Spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. Ideally located in a beautiful valley, a short drive to Gardiner and Yellowstone. We enjoyed our Montana/Wyoming adventures and sitting on the porch watching the sun come up each day!

Thank you Deb and Karlene for your visit! I am very grateful that we were able to host you for your trip and these adventures!
Sincerely, Neil & Linda K.
This was a wonderful, remote cabin near Yellowstone that fit our needs perfectly. Many birds and wildlife flourish just outside the doors of this property. The views are amazing and the owner was highly attentive to make sure we were comfortable and had all that we needed. Highly recommend.
From the first contact with Mr. Neil, I could tell everything was going to be as much as we had dreamt it would be! Mr. Neil and his wife Ms Linda are sweet people and we couldn’t have been more blessed than to have picked this cabin out of hundreds of others we looked at. And the cabin was absolutely spotless and even more beautiful than the pictures! The view is incredible in every direction! Mule deer were an every evening event I looked forward too! So close to Yellowstone National Park and the Yellowstone River! Thanks for everything Mr. Neil and Ms. Linda!—- Jason and Jeanette Bald Knob, Arkansas

Neil and Linda provided us with everything we would need for a cabin experience.
The property has an amazing view of the mountains. It was incredibly clean and well kept. Just be ready to be creative on how to grill anything that would require baking as you are not allowed to use the stove.

Correction: You are allowed to use the 4 burner Stove, of course, but there is no Oven use available in the Stove unit, as noted in the listing. There is a counter-top Oven available upon request and there is a very nice and new grill outside. It is always good of course for a guest to keep in touch with the Host if ever a need arises because they may discover thereby, a solution to their need.
We did enjoy our stay and loved the area! We visited Yellowstone each day and retreated back to this lovely cabin with phenomenal views. The description did say washer/dryer as amenities, as well as hot tub/pool. We saw from photos that the pool was communal but it did not explain that the washer/dryer was at a laundromat. It’s possible the other property they own has these and it’s just not specified. It was only slightly inconvenient and therefore we’d really give 4.5 stars BUT Neil did accommodate our needs in other ways and we are quite grateful! Also, loved walking in and seeing fresh flowers on the table!!! So 5 out of 5!!!

Thank you Danielle and Jason. I did call in to VRBO to try to find the discrepancies that you are referring to. The listing does not have or show a "Hot Tub" on the property. There is a description Box that says that these facillities are available at "Chico Hot Springs 12 miles away". The listing does not have or say "Washer or Dryer" on the property but it did referrence a Coin Laundry that is available at the Emigrant General Store 7 miles away. With VRBO's help we removed any referrence that could be misconstrued as we would not intentionally have these things in our listing. I am glad that you enjoyed our Cabin and had a happy stay.
I apologize for anything that was not clear in the format and listing that VRBO provided and hope that this can clear that up for anyone in the future.

Cute and cozy cabin
4 of us stayed in this cabin on a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park. While it is half an hour or so from the park it was a great place to stay. Our host, Neil was very friendly and informative regarding the area. He even replaced the propane grill when it quit in the middle of our dinner one night. The cabin is located in a beautiful valley with a view of the mountains and a great front porch for relaxing and enjoying the views. Deer came right up to the cabin and elk gathered in the fields below us making evening wildlife viewing a must. The cabin is small but worked well for 4 adults. The only reasons for not rating this stay 5 stars are: the futon/bed in the back room is quite hard, the coffee maker only makes 2 cups at a time ( we had noted this in a previous review and brought our own), the fridge is very small, and the oven cannot be used which limited our meal options. If you plan to eat out most of the time these drawbacks are minimal however. Overall, we had a great time at this cabin.

Thank you Pamela for your input. I am glad that I was able to quickly supply a new refilled propane bottle for that beautiful brand new Grill. I think in this next year we will replace the Futon/memory foam bed with a New regular Bed/Boxspring combination which should easily resolve that question although it is the first time someone has mentioned it. I think also a larger streamlined 8 cup coffee maker will be a great addition for that space for next year, when we find the perfect one to replace the 4 cup Cuisinart that is presently there. No other apologies for this beautiful little Cabin however are necessary because it is a clean beautiful jewel of a Cabin and we are quite clear and up-front about it being an efficiency kitchen and not designed for extensive cooking which is best accomplished on the New Grill outside. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay.
We stayed here for 5 nights out of a 16 day road trip with our 14 and 9 year old kids. This was an excellent base camp for the Yellowstone portion of our trip. We were in the park every day, so had limited time at the cabin. The cabin was extremely clean!!! We love to cook and made note of there being no oven use before we arrived, so had planned our meals accordingly. There’s pretty limited space, so it was tricky, but we got it done! The extra fridge on the back porch was very helpful to hold our groceries. Neil was so nice and checked on us right away. He even brought us towels for swimming at Boiling River, but it was closed. Overall, it’s a beautiful little cabin and was great for us, but on such a long trip we really needed to wash/dry clothes. The listing shows that there is a washer and dryer, but we had to drive a few miles into town to a laundromat which was pretty inconvenient and disappointing, but again, we got it done. The views from the cabin and the daily deer and chipmunk sightings can’t be beat!!

Thank you Doug for your visit. I am glad that you had an excellent time.
I do believe that it says in our listing that laundry facilities are available in Emigrant at the General Store about 7 miles away. The listing also states that there is not Oven use but we do have the stove top, the Grill, and a Toaster Oven available. We learned that it was not a good idea to have the regular Oven available because of the condition that some people left it in and the amount of time that it takes to clean it thoroughly. Because of the heavy travelling that you were doing it may have been a more appropriate idea for you to rent a larger and more expensive home. I am glad that we were able to serve you and that you were able to appreciate the beauty of our Cabin.
The cabin was a cozy peaceful place to relax and recharge your battery.
We were greeted by deer each morning, birds singing and the mountains right in front of you. Beautiful towns nearby and very warm inviting people. Would definitely come here again and loved the property.
The cabin was immaculate. We enjoyed the peaceful views of Paradise Valley and Neil was super nice! Perfect place to stay for North entrance to Yellowstone. Easy drive to rafting, restaurants, etc. Very relaxing place!
My daughter and I had an extraordinary week in this magical place. Neil calls it a healing retreat and you can feel the love the minute you walk in the door. We sat hours on the front porch watching the clouds come in; the aspen tree tremble; the mountains hold steady. I would return in a heartbeat.

Why they chose this property
Paradise Valley is one of the most beautiful places that I know of to live. This Guest Cabin was built on our Ranch property in 2004 and we have lived here since 1988/89 when we were just "a little house on the prairie".
What makes this property unique
We have maintained our 2 Cabins in an "as new" condition - with all of the amenities and details - clean, immaculate, and elegant with all of nature just outside of your door!
