A group of old college friends looking to revisit our old stomping grounds. This stay was in a perfect location for us to get where we needed to go. The host was responsive and prompt and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Thank you, Karlie! We're thrilled you enjoyed the view of the city. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another wonderful stay soon!
The good news: wonderful location 1 block from the Duquesne Incline and the best view of Downtown Pittsburgh. Ample bars/restaurants and a grocery store in the vicinity. Nice neighborhood feel. Comfortable bed. Spacious kitchen. The not-so-good news: because the building in which the apartment is located is so close to its neighbors, the host has, for the sake of guests' privacy, obscured or otherwise covered the windows. As a result the apartment is dark with little natural light. This may be a non-issue for some but it bothered me. (I had to open the front door of the apartment in order to illuminate the living room.) The "funky sheik" aesthetic works fine in general except in the bathroom where it has been allowed to decline into benign negligence. In particular the bathtub has both cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues. Despite its demerits, this place functions well as a home base and is a decent value, a place to leave from and come back to at the end of a tourist day but not a place to linger in.
