Are you fed up with the hustle and bustle of the noise and confusion in and around the town of Nantucket? Are you missing the quiet peaceful times you experienced as a kid or if this is your first time to the island and are looking for a place to relax?

Please Check out “Corkish Cottages” and experience the “Peace and Quiet” that has surely faded away from many parts of the island. Listen to the birds instead of the cars whizzing by. Don’t worry about the safety of your kids or your pets playing in the yard. At night look into space at all the stars that are now visible without all the light pollution of town. Remember this is where Maria Mitchel made her discoveries.

So if your looking to relax with friends and family and enjoy being out in Nature please give Corkish Cottages a chance.

Get away from the crowds in our clean, spacious cottage located at the eastern end of the island. The cottage sits on its own 10 ACRES of privacy. The large sundeck with grill is great for “dining out” or for relaxing and hanging out with friends and family. For those of you who need to stay connected, there is tv, Internet and phone. There is one Double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and two Twin bedrooms with two twin beds in each. There is an additional full bathroom and an open outside shower for rinsing off after the beach. Quidnet Beach and the entrance to Great Point are only minutes away. Siasconset is three miles and the town of Nantucket is seven miles away. There is a shuttle bus stop nearby, and the bike path goes to both Siasconset and Nantucket. If you have a car, there is plenty of space to park.

Secluded and relaxing

Convenient to beaches and Sconset. Lovely location away from tourist crush. Lots of wildlife and pastoral views. Owner was responsive and helpful. Great visit!

Curlew Cottage

Our first stay with Suzette@Curlew Cottage. We loved the location, quiet and secluded, with an abundance of wildlife, easy access to the bike path and Quidnet Beach. Highly recommended for any and all who look for these qualities. Plenty of room for family to visit and we would have brought our dog if we still had him. A+ all around, thanks, Suzette!

A Peaceful Retreat

The cottage had everything we needed. It was comfortable, cozy, private, and very peaceful. It was great to have 2 decks - one in the front and one in the back. It was also wonderful to have a grill (and thank you for providing the charcoal!). We enjoyed our stay at Curlew and would come back again! Thank you!

Great spot to relax

This was a great property - very neat/clean and organized - with minimal frills, but everything you need for a great vacation. The cottage is a bit off the beaten path, but it lends itself to an amazing vacation in nature. You can’t see another house from the property - but you have beautiful viewed of the Sankaty lighthouse and Nantucket woods. We did more hikes and beach days than we have on any other Nantucket vacation - the open format and grill are also great for hanging in and cooking together

Amazing Stay In Nantucket

My family and I enjoyed staying at this home, in Nantucket, in July! The home was exactly as pictured. The cottage was very charming and clean. We loved the idea of being secluded and hidden away. We stayed at another of Suzette's cottages a couple of years ago and had the same wonderful experience! The Beds were all comfy! The Kitchen accommodated us all, around the table for dinner, late night snacks and, card games. We also enjoyed eating on the back porch. We will definitely stay at the cottage again!!!!

Touch of Old Nantucket cottage living

The cottage is very basic - no frills but very clean. In the old yankee traditions -- it works if you're not looking for luxury. The privacy, acres of land surrounding the cottage with few rooftops in the distance provides a very unique and serene experience on Nantucket. The best feature - a great outdoor shower! It worked for us. We'd definitely consider coming back.

Beautiful Oasis

The cottage is rustic but very clean and spacious. The two decks are lovely for lounging and the outdoor shower is a treat in hot weather! It is truly a unique place surrounded only by nature and birds and just a glimpse of the Sankaty Lighthouse! Feels remote and so peaceful! Very safe for little kids. Only thing is I would recommend an SUV for the two-track dirt and sand path accessing it.

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful week at the Curlew cottage. It had all the amenities needed for a relaxing week. We loved the privacy of being slightly off the beaten path but still close to the beach and the bike paths! Suzette was also very responsive to any questions we had prior and during our trip.

an excellent simple, quiet property

This was a relatively isolated spot on the island, which was what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the dark nights with lots of stars and the quiet. There were many different walking/hiking trails nearby (which was particularly good because we had a dog). Yet the cabin easily accessible to all of the beaches and activities in town. cabin was simple and exactly as described and worked perfectly. We would certainly do it again.

The house was well equipped and comfortable.

Had a great visit. House was as described. Clean and cozy. Could use a few more kitchen utensils as I am a foodie. Only real issue was that the outside shower didn’t work. Other wise everything was great.

The cottage I stayed at was exactly what I wanted.

The cottage was private. The rooms were clean and accommodated all our guests comfortably. The owners were always helpful, friendly and took good care of us. We loved the location and returned year after year until my son bought his own home on the island. My friends and family have enjoyed Corkish Cottages and recommend it highly.
