The Space:
This cabin is located in the same building as the Lobby/Guest Laundry and another unit above it- overlooking Fall River Road. There is a parking spot directly in front of the entry door.
When you enter this lovely, updated cabin, you are in a spacious entryway with a bench, hooks and storage space. To the left, you enter into the full kitchen, complete with updated stainless steel appliances. This full kitchen features a full sized refrigerator, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of dishes and cookware.
Further into the cabin, there is a wooden table mounted to the wall with two leather chairs and space to pull a wheelchair or other chair up to the table.
The living space has two comfortable chairs, an electric fireplace and a large HD Roku TV ready to stream your favorite shows or movies.
The bed is just behind the living space- it is a brand new King sized bed with plugs in the headboard and baskets underneath the bed for more clothing storage.
There is a large closet that has an ironing board, laundry basket and hangers so you can store more clothing.
The bathroom is to the right and features a large, roll-in shower. The bathroom also has a small cabinet with a hair dryer and mirror and always has plenty of complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
This cabin is wheelchair accessible and features a roll up bathroom sink, roll-in shower and shower chair. There is also space to roll up to the dining table. There are no steps to get into the cabin and the parking is directly in front of the door.
This cabin is in a building with the Lobby/Guest Laundry and another unit above it. You may hear noises of other guests in the unit above this one. The building is directly off Fall River Road in the front of the property.
*Do not leave pets unattended in the cabin without a kennel or crate!!!*
Our water system relies on a well, and we request your assistance in conserving water regularly while in Colorado. You might receive reminders from us to be mindful of your water usage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the resort property. There is a new community firepit and cornhole game located in front of the Grand Lodge.
The Lobby/Guest Laundry facility is next door to this cabin and features paid laundry services, pamphlets for local attractions and a coffee bar.
The Neighborhood:
Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as deer and elk on our property.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car. You do not need four wheel drive to access the property. There is free parking near the cabin. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!
Other Things to Note:
This cabin is in a building with the Lobby/Guest Laundry and another unit above it. You may hear noises of other guests in the unit above this one. The building is directly off Fall River Road in the front of the property.
We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.
Do not feed the wildlife! It is illegal to feed any wildlife in Colorado and you could get a fine. This includes deer, elk, birds, bears and rodents! Thank you!
DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED IN THE CABIN!!!!
● Daily maid/towel/linen services are not provided
