Welcoming hosts! Amazing place to get away!!! Loved everything about it, especially seeing the elk wandering past the property every day and the incredible sunsets.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Estes Park, look no further...this place is perfect! Easy access to all attractions, but, in a very quiet location. Thanks to Steve and Janet for a great several days.
This cute, clean, bright, well-appointed cabin was perfect for our 3 nights in Estes Park. Near the town center and RMNP, it made our time really relaxing.
The property was even cuter than it was in the pictures! The location was perfect with good walking or easy driving access to everything. It was clean, it was cozy. It had everything we needed.
We had a great mom and me trip! Close to the park and town. Elk right out the door— 5 Bull elk one morning!A slightly bigger bed would be nice- but I’m also not used to sleeping with my 7yo.
The cabin is beautiful and cozy. We had deer come right onto the property and a herd of Elk passed by right in front of the property. It was awesome. Beautiful hiking trails in Estes park. Totally recommend!!
Beautiful and clean cabin with excellent decor and amenities (well equipped kitchen and lovely glass door walking shower). Close to town and yet in quiet area. Nice porch with Mountain Views. We were very pleased on this sister trip to Estes Park.
This little cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We were close to RMNP and Estes lake. We saw wildlife right out our back door! The owners were very nice and helpful and the place was very clean. I will stay there again!
Wonderful stay. Enjoyed the wildlife. Quiet location.

About the host
Hosted by Steven and Janet Hood
We bought this property in 2014 and finally finished the remodel in 2021. It used to be an artist’s gallery for selling his oil paintings which he painted in the studio in the house up on the cliff, which is where we live. We love Estes Park in all its wonderful seasons.
Why they chose this property
Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful with wonderful views of the mountains. It is a 1/2 mile walk to downtown for shopping and restaurants and a 1/4 mile walk to Fisherman’s Cove to walk around the lake - or try fly fishing in the river.
What makes this property unique
We are proud of our little cabin and look forward to sharing it with you!
