Guest Access:
Guests can access the entire cabin as well as our playground and communal spaces on the resort property.
There is a brand new community firepit and cornhole game located in front of the Grand Lodge by the playground.
The Lobby, located at the front of the property by Fall River Road, offers a paid guest laundry room, pamphlets for local attractions, and a coffee bar. You can access the door with your cabin code.
The Neighborhood:
Fall River Road has access to Rocky Mountain National Park's north entrance and is lined on each side of the street with cabins and resorts. Even so, this area is in the remote Rocky Mountains and feels very secluded. We often have wild animals such as deer and elk on our property.
Getting Around:
The easiest way to get around is by car. We provide free parking. We are only minutes from one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our roads in Amberwood are paved and may be slick when it is icy or snowy. We do our best to keep them clear for you!
The city of Estes Park runs a shuttle in the summer months and there is a bus stop within walking distance of the cabins.
Other Things to Note:
We are in the wilderness of Colorado. There are bears, elk, deer, sheep and numerous other wild animals that also call the mountains home. Respect their space and do not keep any trash or food outside unattended. We have an animal proof dumpster on our property for any trash.
● Daily maid/towel/linen services are not provided

Cozy get away that was clean, pet friendly and stocked with necessities. Good communication with owner, always replies to questions quickly. Highly recommend!
Cabin was very cute and just as pictured. Had everything included for a cozy and convenient stay. Cabin was very clean. Perfect for a romantic getaway for 2!
Me and a friend stayed for two nights to take a girls trip to Estes Park. Location was great, just close enough to the town but away enough we got piece and quiet. Everything was as described and it was very cozy. Just perfect for two people. Jill was communicative and we just had a great time overall!!

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the cabin overall and appreciate your suggestion regarding the seating in the living room. We'll consider this for future improvements. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again!
By the photo, it looks like the cabin is by itself. But it is right next to two other cabins. No real privacy if sitting on the front porch. The floors needed mopping. It was great being able to bring my pets, and there was easy acsess to amenities
This cozy cabin was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a weekend trip to Estes. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring RMNP, which is just down the road. We loved the neighborhood of cabins. Check in was so easy and the cabin had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The only thing we would change would be either the location of the TV or the seating in the front room. It would be more comfortable to watch the TV from the bedroom, since there is not a lot of room for comfortable seating in the front room. But overall we loves it and would come back!
