Between May and October keep your eyes peeled for nesting sea turtles on the beach (but be sure to keep your distance as they are locally and federally protected!) Perhaps you will spot dolphins, a migrating manatee, or one of our many shorebirds. The season for North Atlantic Right Whale activity starts in November and continues through March each year too. If you spot these, you've had the rare opportunity to see one of the world's most endangered species!

The gated AIP community is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located next door within the AIP.

Sandcastles Villas is one of the most popular rental destinations in AIP with 3.5 miles of sandy beaches right in its backyard. Cross the road to the walking/biking trails that weave for miles throughout the gated community and are an easy route to the old-Florida outdoor shopping village. This village has restaurants, boutiques, an art gallery, a nature center, and a luxury spa.

The socially-connected traveler will appreciate the complimentary high-speed wireless internet, and there is open parking for multiple cars in front of the unit. Bike and golf cart rentals are available nearby, and there are multiple golf courses close to this condo.

Note that the community laundry rooms are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 6th floors (this condo is on the 5th floor.)

Our rental does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” like the Omni hotel pool, fitness center, and shuttle service. The Racquet Park tennis center allows lessons and clinics to be scheduled, but open play is limited to club members.
