The mansion:
Main floor has gourmet kitchen with 2 Viking stoves, 2 dishwashers , baking station/Bosch oven, Sub Zero refrigirator, Jura coffee maker, well stocked with pots/pans, dishes and glassware. The dining room seats 10 people comfortably. The living room is very spacious with floor to ceiling windows, filled with sunlight and double fire places on each end. Elegantly furnished with French crystal chandelier, brocade sofa and a grand piano. Half bathroom is next to the living room.
On second floor, there are 3 bedrooms (with 2 king size beds and a queen size bed) and 3 full bathrooms. Additional 2 bedrooms (with full size bed and 2 twin beds) are on the third floor. The mansion can accommodate 10 people.
The barn:
The barn is magnificent structure with hand sewn beams and soaring ceiling. Very spacious with several floors, balconies and nooks. There is no heating and some rooms are air conditioned. Main floor is spacious with several seating areas, a bedroom with queen size bed and bathroom with hot shower. On second floor, lounge with a bar, wide double barn doors opening to flower garden, queen size bed and 2 twin beds. Third floor is air conditioned with 3 queen size beds. The barn can accommodate up to 12 people.
The property is surrounded by 12+ acres of well maintained lawn and mature trees. There are 5 flower gardens around the main house and the barn. Behind the house, restored stone ruin of an outdoor kitchen that can be used for outdoor BBQ. Large fire pit next to the vegetable garden for gathering in the evenings. Private hiking trails along the perimeter of the property.
Across the road is Fishkill Creek riverfront, 1.3 acres of meadow with hiking trails. We share the river with migrating geese, turtles and occasionally grey heron flying by and stop to rest on trees.
