This was the perfect family ski house! Our family of four had everything we needed to relax after long days on the slopes: comfy beds, great kitchen, warm showers and grocery stores nearby. House stayed nice and warm even in single digit temps. High quality finishes and linens, definitely better than what you get in a typical ski condo rental!
Beautiful home! We enjoyed the hot tub immensely after skiing. Table was large enough to accommodate our group for dinner and we appreciated the well an equipped kitchen. The mattress’s and bedding were quite comfortable. The plow service came early enough for us to get fresh tracks after the storm which was much appreciated. Only suggestion would be hand soap in the bathrooms, a few more towels, and more toilet paper (although we were warned and bought plenty of our own). It was a bummer to see the pool table and not be able to use it, but hopefully in the future. Otherwise we had a great stay and would definitely stay again, if the opportunity arose.

Thank you, Julie. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The new pool table is now fully installed and ready for use. You'll have to come back!
Stayed here for a family ski weekend. Excellent location for skiing, and the house is beautiful! Nice and private, with spectacular river access in the summer time.
This is a beautiful and spacious house, with access to a fast running creek, which you can hear from the bedrooms at night. There's gathering places all around, including a lovely fire pit area. Close to Waitsfield.
The house and property are beautiful! Fully equipped kitchen, clean, plenty of room to visit with friends. Super close to Mt Ellen and only a few more minutes to Mt Lincoln base lodge. Note the driveway is steep and 2-wheel-drive cars may have trouble, it's Vermont in winter in the mountains so don't take that lightly. We did have to call AAA for a car to get out of the driveway. Highly recommend this house I would not hesitate to stay again! Close enough drive to UVM to pick up my student for a weekend with family skiing. Amy was great and very responsive to my questions on VRBO messaging. Thanks again Amy we had a great time!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you had trouble getting your car out of the driveway. I would like to note that we use the driveway in the winter without a 4-wheel drive and never get stuck. The key is to disengage the traction control.

Home has potential but it’s a big miss. We arrived at 4:30 pm when the outside temperature was in the low 40’s. The heat in the home was set to 50 degrees & it took a full day for the entire home to get up to 68 degrees once we turned the heat up. The hot tub was set at 90 degrees with instructions to turn it up. We set it to 104 degrees but it took over 7 hours to heat up to 104 degrees so we were unable to use the hot tub until day 2. The entire first 24 hours was a busy given the miserably low temperature in the home & that we couldn’t use the hot tub until day 2. In reality we were shorted one days stay given the freezing home & inability to use the hot tub until day 2. LOTS of road noise in the house - the home is very close to a major road which doesn’t make it feel “secluded” or private. It appears this is someone’s vacation home & they rent it out occasionally without much though for guest experience.

Hi,
I'm sorry you found it difficult to heat the home and hot tub. It is indeed our home that we use regularly and rent occasionally. We don't have this problem, particularly not in the fall months before the cold weather sets in. I wish you'd reached out so that I could have helped your trouble shoot the heating issues.
