A mountain vacation home that has location, location, location! The first-floor bath was completely renovated in November 2020. Available all four seasons for SHORT TERM RENTALS. One mile to ski lifts at Sugarbush, while you can walk to golf. Very well-stocked kitchen is perfect for those who like to cook. Nearby country and grocery stores can keep your cupboards full.
But if restaurants are your thing, you can search for local menus from the comfort of the fireplace-living room using our WiFi. The abundance of dining options will keep you satisfied for two weeks.
Skiing Sugarbush?
Sugarbush boasts some of the finest ski terrain variety in the East. Two mountains: Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen offer up to 53 miles of trails with an elevation of 4083'.
5 high-speed quads service an area that gets an average 269" of snowfall annually all within a short one-mile drive. If you want more variety, Mad River Glen is very close, about 20 minutes away. Stowe Mountain Resort is also close, only 50 minutes away.
Summer in The Valley boasts: golfing, tennis, biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, soaring, shopping, and so much more nearby. The mid-May to mid-October Waitsfield Saturday Farmers Market is not to be missed!
Apres-Ski time or just plain old relaxation at the house is enhanced by a variety of coffee brewing choices ( drip and Keurig) as well as a new HDTV for sports or movies.

Great place and location

Tom’s cabin is perfect for a skiing getaway. The house is perfect and clean. Bathrooms were updated and electric fireplace got the place warm quickly. Just a few minutes drive from sugarbush and mad river glen. Would happily stay there again!

Awesome house

We stayed at Tom's house for a week during winter break and skied at Sugarbush. It was perfect for our family of five. The beds were comfortable, and the shower and bathrooms were great. It was the perfect, cozy home for a great week of skiing.

Perfect ski cabin

This was the perfect ski cabin for our group of 4 adults and 4 little kids! It was impeccably clean, warm, and ideally located for easy access to skiing. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for a ski week - perfect size for four adults. Easy access to the skiing and golf course. Clean and neat and cozy. A nice classic ski house at a fair price.

Perfect ski cabin!

This is the perfect A-frame ski cabin located in a great spot near Sugarbush. We enjoyed the warmth of the gas fireplace in the evenings. Well equipped in the kitchen and worked out perfectly for our group.

Cozy, clean and close to the slopes

A great little home for our long weekend at Sugarbush. Comfortably fit our group of eight (4 adults/ 4 kids). Everything was as described in the listing. Located just over a mile from the slopes. Owner was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place for 1-2 families or small groups of friends.

The house was very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Drive was approx 5 mins to Lincoln peak at Sugarbush. The owner was responsive. Would love to return.

Excellent Place! - Beth and Friends

This place is great- you can do as much or as little as you want, even if it's just hanging out and enjoying the atmosphere of Vermont. The town is very accessible and you really get the feel of Vermont. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and has a great view of the Mad River Valley. I went up with a few friends and had a great, relaxing time. Lots of space to stretch out and feel the Vermont air. Would definitely recommend to anyone- be it a family or a group of friends!

Spacious and Pleasant

It was perfect for our needs. We ended up not needing such a large space, so we all stayed in the one giant room. It has a queen, and a bunk bed with either a queen and twin or full and twin. The location was gorgeous with the leaves changing. We didn't see any bears but apparently that is possible.

We learned to ski as young adults in our mid-twenties. We loved the sport so much, we knew we had to own property in ski country. When we had children, we did not wait to teach them to ski. At three years old, they were on the slopes in Sugarbush's Sugar Bear Program. We are both retired now and spend as much time as we can at our VT home when it is not rented. So happy to have purchased a beautiful corner of God's splendor known as The Mad River Valley.

Why they chose this property

We skied and traveled all over Vermont but I have to say there is no other area more beautiful than the Mad River Valley. It is a Four Season Gem of Nature.

What makes this property unique

It has to be the view off the living room, not to mention the close proximity to skiing and golfing.
