We got to see so many waterfalls nearby! Hiked way too long and went to Cumberland caverns. This was a wonderful spot and Jim is incredible and gave several tips. Thank you a wonderful stay
We have now stayed in this cabin twice and on this property in another cabin two other times. We continue to come back because the cabins are fantastic and the property is beautiful. We have everything we need every time we visit!!
This was a beautiful property. If you want to get away from it all this is the place for you. No traffic or noise, just beautiful nature. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch. Perfect place to relax.
Quiet little Cabin neat Fall Creek Falls State Park
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Location was easy to find. It was close to Fall Creek Falls Park, so we could access the Mammoth March Hike we were participating in. Jim was super nice and friendly, with good food recommendations. We will definitely stay here again, when we come back to explore the area again :)
We spent 2 days hiking to different waterfalls with family. Great memories made! The cabin is definitely in a wooded area and secluded. It’s quiet and peaceful on the property. Communication with the host was great! We loved our stay!
This is our third time to stay at this cabin. The cabin is really nice and Sheryl checks to make sure we have everything that we need. This trip we got to meet the owner and you can tell it is important to him that our stay is all that we expect. It is nice and quiet in the area. The cabin is well stocked and always so clean.
This was our 4th time to stay in this rental and we will continue to come back. Perfect for us guys to get away. Very private and great location very near park. Jim and Cheryl are great host and make sure everything is perfect. Love the firepit and plenty of firewood.

Comfortable Cabin
This was our first time in the area and I’m so glad we stayed here! It was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The cabin is beautiful and well built. The trails are great for walking the dogs. I wish we had an extra day just to hang out at the lake; it was so peaceful and the gazebo and swings are so inviting! Fall Creek Falls is pretty close and the drive was gorgeous with all the blooming dogwoods. We cooked dinner in the cabin each night and had everything we needed. The screened porch; the fire pit and swings; the front porch chairs; watching a little tv before bed - it was perfect!
We had a stellar stay at the CPR! The cabin was perfect and Jim was incredibly helpful and kind. We had lots of things planned and wished we had carved out more time to spend at the cabin and make use of the fire pit, screened in porch, and other lovely amenities. It was a great getaway overall! Would definitely love to visit again.
1st night there it stormed, so no stargazing. But the 2nd night was fantastic, sitting on one of the many swings looking at the stars and shooting stars. Cabin inside and out was super and we will stay here again if in the area.
Quick communication with manager, answered our questions promptly. Cabin clean and checkin a breeze. Only got to enjoy the screened in porch once due to cooler temps. Frying pans were older-our only complaint. Quiet and restful environment for nature lovers. Would definitely stay again.
The property was very pet friendly, host James and staff are wonderful, house was clean, however a new mattress is needed in the master. We had a lovely visit.
We found bedbugs.Lots of dust and cobwebs all over.Owner refunded our stay. The cabin is nice and location is perfect for Dead Zero gun range so long as they clean better and handle the bedbug situation.Cell signal was weak with Verizon
We came in for a family reunion so just needed a quiet place to rest for a few nights. I would have loved to have time to explore all the improvements made to the property since the last time we were here! My kids love the loft bed and all wanted to sleep up there. The cabin was very comfortable for us.

About the host

As a 2004 retiree, I needed something to do to occupy my time. Since I was originally born in Tennessee and owned several acres on the Cumberland Plateau, it seemed only natural that I would eventually find myself back there. Renting vacation cabins came purely as a coincidence since I wound up with more cabins than I could use after buying out and 'ol Navy buddy.
I enjoy meeting and talking to all kinds of people and this seemed to be the perfect venue for that passion.
Why they chose this property
While traveling from Georgia to Kentucky we crossed the beautiful Cumberland Plateau many times. Each time we would comment on how great it would be to own property there someday and to thoroughly enjoy the area, especially Fall Creek Falls State Park.
What makes this property unique
The beauty and serenity of the area provides a great place to sit back and relax away from the hustle and bustle. The added joy of having the beauty of Fall Creek Falls so close by is just a bonus.
Sitting on your porch and watching the area wildlife come and go is a real treat.
