We had a great relaxing stay, the host were the best. We are going to make this a yearly thing for my sister and myself! This place is the perfect getaway!
It was an absolutely beautiful stay. We were welcomed by a loving cat and an equally wonderful property manager. It was so perfect, my husband and I are looking to purchase a cabin just like this one. Thank you for such a memorable trip.
The Autumn Breeze cabin at the Cumberland Plateau Retreat (Spencer,TN) is wonderful. Reservations and commutation are so easy. The cabin is perfect for one, or a couple with a child since there is a loft. There are cabins of various sizes, it’s safe, and very scenic. It’s my fourth year staying.
This property is very nice. We were greeted by the property manager when we first arrived. She told us several things we needed to know. Our cabin was exactly like it was on the pictures. The property is secluded and well-maintained. The owner and manager offer many things that we did not expect. Definitely a very nice place to stay for the money.
My boyfriend and I decided to make a quick getaway for a few days. The property is close to Fall Creek Falls for some outdoor activities. We will definitely will be staying at this property again.
Wonderful country getaway . It was exactly as posted, charming little cabin with hiking paths and a beautiful pond with gazebo. If your looking for peace and tranquility, this is definitely your spot. Mr. Jim and Cheryl madebsure we had everything we needed. for our stay
I've stayed at the Cumberland Plateau Retreat before so I know it is a nice property, just as shown in the photos. It is a quiet cabin in the woods, great for a peaceful getaway. Owner was very responsive, answering my messages promptly. I plan on staying here again when I'm in the area!
Quiet cabin in the woods. Owner is awesome, explained everything and said he is there if we need something. Close to state park. Comfortable, clean, everything we wanted for the weekend.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Stayed here for 2 nights along a road trip with my 2 girls, 10 and 11. Luved the cabin and was a convenient location for our goal of seeing as many waterfalls as we could :)
Needed a place to stay while we participated in the Mammoth March at Falls Creek Falls State Park. This was the perfect place and not too far from the Park. Very clean cabin with everything we needed. Great back porch sitting area. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We had the best stay at Autumn Breeze. The cabin was cozy and had every amenity we needed. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. I loved having coffee on the porch in the morning while listening and watching the birds. Jim was so friendly and welcoming. This property is a must if you are looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway.
This was my 3rd stay. As a woman traveling alone, I have always felt very safe here. The property is lovely, including walking trails and a lake. The caretaker and owner are lovely people who will greet you, and/or say goodbye at the end of you stay but certainly respect your privacy during your visit. It’s a wonder place for a peaceful retreat.

About the host

As a 2004 retiree and needing something to occupy my time I decided to open a cabin rental business. This occurred after winding up with more cabins than I could use at one time. Since then we have added additional features and at least one additional cabin to create a more complete offering of choices to our customers.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the area several years ago while passing through on the way from GA to KY. Since originally being from TN, the Cumberland Plateau seemed to offer all the serenity and beauty I was looking for.
What makes this property unique
The quite and beauty of the Cumberland Plateau is a natural attraction and is what brought us here in the beginning. To be able to enjoy all it has to offer on a continuous basis is amazing.
