Surrounded by stunning Sherwin Mountain views, unwind in the year-round heated pool and hot tub or enjoy hassle-free skiing with the nearby gondola that leads to Canyon Lodge.

Entering the great room feels like stepping into a warm, sunlit haven with oversized windows perfectly showcasing postcard-worthy mountain views. A harmonious blend of wood and stone accents graces the living area, where a cozy sleeper sofa and armchair thoughtfully face the gas fireplace and 42” TV for the ultimate relaxation and comfort. The thoughtfully designed kitchen features high-end GE appliances. At the end of a delightful evening, step outside onto the private patio and take in the crisp mountain air with a glass of wine.

With on-site parking for 1 vehicle, it's easy to explore the area—whether driving to the Main Lodge for skiing, hiking at Devil’s Postpile National Monument, or visiting Yosemite National Park. For skiing, take the free gondola to Canyon Lodge or ride the free bus.

Family Ski weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this particular unit at the village. The host (Natural Retreats) initiated a text message thread a couple of weeks before our trip which enabled us to ask questions before and during the trip and they always respond quickly. The unit itself is well-kept and well stocked with a lot of kitchenware that were in great condition. They also made sure there are enough dishwasher pods and trash bags in the unit unlike other rentals we’ve had in the past. The unit is also in the first level and close to everything: the ski storage area, the laundry, the trash chute and even the elevators so loading and unloading wasn’t too bad. We also loved that it’s close to the entrance so you walk out and you’re right in the middle of the village where you can shop, eat, drink or just grab coffee. Natural retreats also had some goodies for us that made us feel welcome (coffee beans, olive oil, etc) and even provided a lock so you can use the ski storage. The only thing I didn’t like was you only get one parking pass but that’s really up to the Mammoth Village Lodge and not the host. There is a paid parking lot across the street that’s available and a very short walk from the unit. Overall, I would totally book this particular unit again and would also look to at other rentals by Natural Retreats.

Great location, Simple but sufficient property

Clean and has what you’d need for a short ski vacation - perfect location near coffee (right outside the door), restaurants, and some lifts. Short drive to main lodge as well. Worked for us! And property manager was quick to respond to our needs.

Fantastic location, large room

Very clean and great location, 1 floor and right across from the ski locker room. Quiet despite being on main road side. The room is quite dated, but so are many of the rooms in this building I have stayed in. For those liking a firm mattress, this is your place.

Excellent location!

We loved being so close to everything…the gondola, restaurants, market, coffee shop, and more. The condo itself was quite basic, and although it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it should be noted it’s living spaces are quite small. The unit is very efficient as it includes everything needed for your stay. Just small. Still enjoyable! The property management company was great to work with, easy and thorough.

Great Location in Good Shape

Perfect for two older guys on a snow weekend. Was disappointed that the main TV and wi-fi not working and management couldn’t get it to work. Also seems to have a plumbing issue in kitchen sink. Management impossible to get a hold of after hours. None of it was a big deal for us, but could be for other guests.

Motel 6 Beds

Upon arrival linens were dirty, dishes and silverware were dirty and the beds might as well be Motel 6 horrible beds. Aluminum bed frames for a high end resort condo isn’t adequate. The mattresses are stiff like boards and pillows like styrofoam. We won’t return to this unit until they make some upgrades better than what exist.

Location, Location, Location

This was our first time staying in the Village & you can’t beat the location & the ease of getting on the Gondola for access to Canyon Lodge. Overall, ease of shops, restaurants, etc. was great depending on what you’re looking for. Only comment I have on this unit is there wasn’t enough information with respect to the unit’s own storage locker, issue with cable connection & not enough blankets for 6. Due to Covid, difficult to get in touch directly with a live person to get these issues corrected. You have to leave messages & wait for response which they will do. It would be helpful to have some unit instructions to have things clearer. Beds could be upgraded as a little hard along with the pillows but if that works for you, all good. Unit overall comfortable enough. Enjoy !
