The host went above and beyond in hospitality, communication and welcoming touches. Every question I had was kindly and promptly answered. Many additional amenities were added which created a sense that the host was personally welcoming you. The home was relaxing, clean and uplifting. This was the best VRBO experience I’ve had to date. Such a great place!

The cottage is wonderful - everything is new, it has all the things you need, and the space is beautiful. The bedrooms are upstairs, connected with a door between them, and the bathroom/shower is downstairs. It’s a great layout for a family stay. It’s bigger than we expected, with an extra seating area upstairs.

Chilly but well put together

We really enjoyed staying in the lake house. The features and thoughtfulness were great and the gathering space and hot tub were wonderful. The biggest downsides were that the heat did not really travel well up to the bedrooms in the loft and that there was not a microwave for convenience. The hosts were responsive and met our needs otherwise.

Lovely Stay on Strawberry Lake

The home is lovely and clean. The bathrooms are very nice and the bonus room in the garage is a nice touch. Ping pong table, games, hot tub, and a large lawn area to play. The deck is lovely with sitting area, patio table and chairs and BBQ. We brought our grandchildren and they had a great time. You can easily rent a boat at Portage Lake which is on the chain of lakes and close by. If you are planning on bringing your own boat, please let the owners know in advance so they can make arrangements to move their boat. The cove isn't really setup for swimming with the boats in the slips but they have a couple kayaks. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a great experience and would definitely come back.
