Lovely place

Lovely place but has some small flaws. Pool heating could have been better, but overall a super holiday. Felt a little too far away from major amenities.

Lovely Villa, Great Location

Lovely spacious villa with great outdoor dining space and pool, even a volleyball court! Spacious bedrooms and good bathrooms, and nice outdoor seating areas. Lounge and dining room and good size, kitchen is not huge, but is extremely well equipped, and two fridge freezers. Gated parking, 20 minute stroll to Vilamoura. Great place for a family get together!

Lovely Villa

Very nice villa with everything you need for a great holiday. Hosts (Catia) very helpful. Always replied to any queries very promptly. We requested more sunbeds and they were delivered within hours. Would definitely book again.

Large Family Xmas

Villa Galeao is simply stunning. Even with 19 of us staying there was still so much space. Great pool, voleyball court, and pool table to keep the kids entertained as well as 2 living rooms with smart tv's, netflix, and even a playstation!, well equipped kitchen with washing facilities. Really close to Quarteira and Villamoura so perfect location, short walk to everything you need. Probably the best property and value for money I have ever booked. Thank you soo much for an amazing Xmas break!

Great Villa

This is a perfect Villa, in a great location. The layout is perfect for multiple families, with the bedrooms arranged over 3 levels, and plenty of space for everyone. The garden and pool were perfect, with space for the kids to enjoy and the adults to relax. We walked to both Villamoura and Quarteria, about a 20 min walk to each town, but perfectly doable without a car, but even a taxi was very good value if you do not fancy the walk. The property was exactly as described, all facilities as I was expecting, clean and well maintained and Gustavo was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and taxi companies. We would 100% book this villa again, and I would definitely recommend the villa to a group of families or friends

Trainingscamp in Villa Galeao

A great villa with a lot of space. We where on a trainingscamp for track and field with a group of 13 persons and in 5 minutes we where on the track by bike. Because of the large space of the villa everyone could find his own place. This villa contains all the necessary equipments, such as a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker etc. The service was very good. The owner was 24/7 available for all your needs. There was also a poolcleaner, gardener and housekeepers to keep the whole place nice and clean. In other words, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Gustavo for your hospitality and see you next year!

Stunning, imposing villa with great garden!

As soon as we arrived we were so impressed. Gustavo kindly met us as we were lost and we followed him to the villa. The villa is faultless..very clean, very large rooms , air conditioning , plenty of bathrooms,sky TV channels, games room..everything you would want for a luxury stay. The garden is absolutely stunning..great pool, plenty of loungers. I cannot fault it..I just wish we had longer at the villa! Gustavo also kindly came to the villa at midnight on the last night as we had stupidly locked ourselves out. Would recommend a car or taxi. Vilamoura marina is lovely. Figos. Is very reasonable at the marina. Seville is only 2 hours away and is stunning and albuferia is great for shopping. Would definitely go back to the villa again!

Great stay

Villa is very spacious, we were a family of 10. Good location, 10min walk to supermarket (Pingo Dolce), 20min walk to Quarteira, and 30min walk to Vilamoura Marina. The Villa is up hill, therefore walk down was good, but we taxied back up, taxis are cheap, around 5€ for taxi of 6. The Villa is a bit dated which is reflected in the price, upstairs shower room would be better replaced, there is a shower room on the ground floor which we used instead. There are no shelves in any of the bath or shower rooms for toiletries which would be something i think needs addressed, as we just sat the toiletries on the floor. Plenty sunbeds, pool and BBQ area good, and the beach towels supplied was a bonus, i would recommend for a large group, over all experience was good.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the Villa. The property is as described. For the time of year we went the cost was good value although compared to other villas we have rented the property is basic. There are no welcome packs, bathroom supplies, and surprisingly no locks on any of the bathroom doors ! There were issues with the Pool Heating which were financially addressed by the Company to our satisfaction. The Villa is definitely a 30 minute walk to the Marina with Children in tow. Cabs are cheap though. We would rent here again and take into account our previous experience.

Fun week in Villamoura

This is a great location - nice beaches, good restaurants and all within walking distance of this very functional villa. The house was very clean, tidy and well equipped. It is in a lovely neighbourhood. We really enjoyed the pool area as well as the billiard table in the basement. We hadn’t noticed beforehand that only 3 of the rooms have double beds. The rest are twin rooms so make sure to ask if they can be made up as doubles before booking if needed. 4 of the 8 bedrooms are in the basement - they have updated en-suites whereas on the first floor has 3 bedrooms (the nicest and brightest) but share two much older bathrooms. The 8th bedroom is on the ground floor. We were only 3 couples but if you have a full house we would recommend opening your bedroom window in the basement when having a shower, otherwise the towels never seem to get dried and the rooms can feel a little damp after a few days. Having a tumble dryer would help. The house is a bit dated but we feel this is reflected in the price for the rental - make no mistake this house is excellent value for money, in a great location and the prefect place for families or groups of golfers. It is a fun house with lots to entertain you! Also the management staff were very helpful and prompt in assisting us with our queries. With these considerations in mind we would recommend a stay here and would consider returning for a future visit.

Fantastic Holiday and Incredible Villa

Immaculate, spacious and beautiful villa. This is the best villa we have stayed in. As a party of 14 made up of three families we arrived on Saturday evening for a week to a dream villa, that had been thoroughly cleaned and ready for us to enjoy a fun filled week in Vilamoura. Villa layout is excellent and the fact that each bedroom has its own on-suite or bathroom gave everyone their own bedroom and bathing space without the need to share. Four of the bedrooms are based around the lounge and pool table area in the basement which worked really well for us because one of the families had this as their main space. One bedroom on the ground floor, big lounge and dining room also on this floor (although we ate outside all the time using the large patio tables and chairs), three more bedrooms on the first floor, one with access to an incredible balcony overlooking the large rear garden. The kitchen met our needs with a very big fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and usual kitchen appliances and lots of pans and glasses. Although we did not use the TV's much, having them available (with Netflix included in case anyone wanted to watch a film) and the ability to play music through the sound systems was something we made good use of. The pool was great, especially as we had been blessed with hot weather. A good size, well maintained and the inflatables at the villa made it even more fun for the kids. This is the first villa we have come across with a Volleyball court and it did not take long before the volleyball I had taken with us was in use and although none of us had played before by the end of the week we were all hooked and very competitive! The villa is situated in a very quiet area surrounded by lots of other expensive villas and the Pinhall golf course. Within a 10 minutes walk you had two big supermarkets to choose from for supplies (open every day and until 10pm) It was a 15 minute walk to the beach which is very long (must be a mile and half), golden with some great waves to play in. From the villa to the Marina was a 20 minute walk, lots of bars and nice restaurants surrounding the marina (although we ate away from the marina front as it was cheaper). The marina is a busy and bustling place which felt a very safe and lovely place to spend an evening. We never saw any trouble on the numerous times we visited. The villa is a very special place and makes for an incredible holiday with all it and the location has to offer. Thanks Gustavo and Igor

Perfect vakantiehuis voor families en grote groepen.

Op een mooie locatie in een rustige buurt staat deze grote, ruime villa. Een mooi zwembad (tot 2.20 m diep) en veel ruimte voor sport en spel. Enige nadeel kan zijn dat het zwembad niet is afgeschermd en daardoor gevaarlijk is voor kleine kinderen en ongeoefende zwemmers.

Great villa

The villa is very big with 8 beds and 8 bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. Towels and pool towels are provided. Great location and everything a short drive away. Pool table and volleyball were welcome entertainment for the kids who ranged from 5 to 9 years old. Overall great villa and had all we were looking for! Would definitely recommend and would return in the future! We were slightly put off by a review regarding animals on the bed - glad we took the plunge and booked as the villa was spotlessly clean.

Perfect family villa

We rented the villa for our whole family. It was great to have large bedrooms and each bedroom their own bathroom. Perfect for our grown up family. The villa had all the equipment needed in the kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing , we ate outdoors at breakfast and dinner. It is within a 20 minute walk to the marina at Vilamoura. Couple of supermarkets about 15 minutes away. Pool was enjoyed by all of us. Perfect for a nice cooling down dip but big enough for a swim. We would definitely book again

The area and villa was very nice but a little bit dated in some areas. Our main concern was the pool was not checked throughout our weeks stay and it seemed that the filter on the pool was not working. We had no meet and greet from the owner so worked out how things worked ourselves. There were no parasols at the eating area outside. So with 2 babies and a small child we had to eat indoors during the day. Little things that would have made our holiday a fantastic experience
