South Loop 3 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom. We are centrally located and very easy to get anywhere in the city! Walking, public transportation or Uber is a great way to get around!
The Space:
We have 3 bedrooms and a queen size air mattress for sleeping arrangements. If doubled up, can sleep a MAXIMUM of 8 people. We are 1 block from the "El" Chicago's main transportation, the building is insulated so even with the train so close, you can hear it but he building does a great job of muffling the noise.
Must climb stairs sto get to the apartment.

Set next to Museum Campus and including historic Printers Row, the large South Loop is a lively hub of classic bars and diverse restaurants, plus longtime clubs Jazz Showcase and Buddy Guy's Legends. Students and creative types frequent the Museum of Contemporary Photography, while blues label Chess Records offers tours of its recording studio.
Getting Around:
We are right next to the train, so public transportation is very easy to get to and can take you anywhere in Chicago. Ubers are plentiful as well.

Before we can confirm any booking, we do need to know:
1. What brings you into town?
2. How many people will be staying at the home?
3. Do you expect any visitors, if so how many?
We may require an ID & signed Rental Agreement or a refundable deposit prior to check in.
We do have Ring Cameras outside the property. Any blocking of the cameras will lead to an automatic eviction, forfeiture of security deposit, no refund and a fine. Please do not block these cameras.
We do not have keys or access to our mailbox.
HOUSE RULES
11:00 pm Quiet Hour
We do NOT allow late check out. There is a charge of $25/10 min after 11AM.
Must 21+ to Book
No smoking or Vaping (of anything) inside the unit. $500 fine if home smells like smoke.
Must book for total number of guests staying/visiting the home. $250 per unauthorized guest/night. Ring cameras on the exterior of the property. These do record when it captures motion. Blocking of cameras will lead to eviction and $1000 fine. NO EXCEPTIONS!
If a security team is called due to an infraction of the house rules, the guest agrees to pay for the security team ($500 minimum) and the duration of the reservation, even if removed by the security team due to the infraction.
Do not cover Ring Cameras, this will lead to an eviction and forfeiture of security deposit.
Please DO NOT flush feminine products/paper towels/any foreign substance down the toilet (ONLY toilet paper). It is not good for the pipes and if there is an issue we may pass the charge onto the guest.
$500 for any unauthorized pets per night
Rental agreement, ID, and/or security deposit may be asked prior to booking
$250 lockout fee if needed to call a locksmith to let in. If keys at property and lost this charge will apply. If no keys, this will not be applicable unless tampering was made with our digital door lock system
Please no burning of candles, incense, or anything else in the home. If done, this will be treated as “smoking” in our house rules. Thank you.
We only provide the initial supplies for the stay. If more are needed throughout the trip, It will be the guest's responsibility.

Pros: Convenient location to red metro line, spacious dining area.Cons: Apartment tired looking compared to photos and dirty bathtub, bathroom sink blocked on arrival requiring callout from maintenance department, so could not be used for a day.Poor check in experience. Host advised would send check-in code to key safe 1 hour prior to check-in to all guests. This did not happen and incomplete check-in information given. Therefore arrived at apartment and could not get in for an hour, host did not answer telephone or email. They eventually responded on vrbo app.Apartment is close to metro line and one bedroom experiences significant noise throughout day and evening so don't stay if light sleeper.Wifi was extremely slow and frequently dropped out, mobile data was quicker than the wifi available.Overall, a disappointing stay.

First, be careful as the host will accept your money for booking, then make clear that they require a copy of your ID, before you will be given access. And they won't refund you if you're uncomfortable providing such to an unknown entity. Fair enough. I provided my ID, which in retrospect, was a mistake. Upon arrival, I found the property was not as described (it's a 4th floor walk up) and closet and cabinet doors hanging off. Additionally, it's pretty clear that someone had been trying to force the front and rear door as they were cracking apart. And, the unit had a strange smell. I left within 20 minutes, informed the host that the unit was not satisfactory and the host refused to refund me for the stay, then threatened legal action, should I attempt a charge back.I suggest one should avoid at all costs.

This review is completely made up and I would not take seriously. Guest booked our home, then wanted a 50% discount the day before the stay. When declined they waited until check in time to send messages and we feel this was an attempt to get money back when they knew they couldnt make it as we were in the non refundble state being that check in was so close
From the pictures we were a little worried with the amount of sharing space we would have but it was a lot more spacious when we settled in. Good distance from a lot of things in downtown and to public transportation! Would definitely come again when visiting Chicago with friends!!!

Excellent location in Chicago and check-in, check-out, and communication with the host was great. Climbing the four flights of stairs every day was an extra workout, but the apartment was nice and fairly spacious. Some spaces, such as in the kitchen drawers and back windowsill, could have used a deeper clean, but otherwise it was neat and tidy.
