Pros: The room was very up to date, clean, and roomy for two people. Anymore than two it would feel a bit tight. The room was well stocked and we didn’t find ourselves in a spot needing something we couldn’t get. The owner and “guest concierge” were incredible and were communicative the entire time and made you feel right at home! The resort had plenty of pools and was right off the beach. The location of the resort was in a great central spot. I can’t speak highly enough about the unit, it was right on the top of the building with a great view!
Cons: Please note, some of the cons are addressed by the owner in the description. I am purely providing the guests perspective. First thing is the actual building, parking deck, and most of the infrastructure is quite dated. It has a bit of a 1980s-90s feel to it. The building could really use some renovations. The actual resort staff including receptionists, doormen, bellhops, other roaming staff, etc were less than courteous and you honestly felt like a burden to them by just asking for help or questions. They didn’t seem too interested in your experience. Being in a “private unit” has pros and cons but it can leave you feeling as a bit of an outsider to the staff and you miss out on some resort perks. The music from below the room is quite loud until 11:00 PM. If that is your thing, great. If not, really consider how much that will bother you. Also the connecting room is a flip of the coin to see how loud your neighbors are.
