Mattresses are tricky because what may be comfortable to one person might be uncomfortable to the next. Also, Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests to note, the pictures of the unit are updated and accurate. Thank you for staying with us Martin and we hope you enjoyed your time in Tahoe.

For future guests, please note that the fire pits located at the Lakeland Village clubhouse are community amenities managed by the on-site HOA. Our teams have inspected to ensure it’s working properly for future guests. Thank you Leanne for your feedback on our home. We agree that the location of Lakeland Village is absolutely incredible, and the perfect spot to access all the beauty of South Lake Tahoe! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unavailability of the hot tub and pool during your visit - we understand how disappointing that must have been. For future guests to note, spring and summer are common times for maintenance projects in South Lake Tahoe due to winter restrictions. We promptly relay maintenance closures to our guests as soon as we are informed by the HOA to try to minimize disruption to plans. However, we’re truly sorry of the unfortunate timing of these closures over your stay dates Leanne. We hope to welcome you back again when you can also enjoy the updated amenities!

Vickie, thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed the location, the patio, and the beach! We apologize for your discomfort that came along with the heat in the 80’s (we welcome these warm days after months in the snow). We hope you were able to make use of the portable fans in the home. For future guests, we always recommend leaving the windows and blinds closed during the day, but opening the windows during the cool evening hours.
