You’ll love the 5js Beach House at the Devil's Punchbowl with 2 beaches!

The 5js beach house is an incredible private home in the perfect coastal location. You will enjoy your most unforgettable vacation in Oregon's best whale watching area. We have seen the baleen of whales feeding their young just yards away from the punch bowl!
The 5js is your nautical getaway and is completely equipped with all the conveniences of home and more for a great vacation.
Inside the 5js there are beach views throughout the house, and it completely takes on a ship's theme lovely dark cedar ship lapped siding. It has a 54” ship's wheel and two lofts, one accessed via the ship ladder. There is a queen bed in the Captain's Quarters with a vaulted ceiling, and a full bed in the Quarter deck loft. Access the ship’s ladder and you will be in the Crow's Nest loft with one full and twin bed. This property is split level and not ADA accessible.

This cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances & solid granite counter tops. The 5js features high end photos of the ocean's magnificence, and original art work from known artists.

We have a number of quality classic, pirate games, and clay poker chips for family fun. We also have adapters for each type of game console ready to plug and play. A new Smart HDTV offers a great selection of channels and we have a large number of DVD's on hand for you to enjoy along with a blue tooth speaker system for your own tunes.

Lounge on the split level deck out back and BBQ an ocean buffet~ and then chill out on the Adirondack chairs while the ocean slows down time!

You can forget cooking and walk over to the famous Mo's Chowder House for the best clam or fish sandwich that you have ever. After lunch walk across the street from Mos to see the amazing Devil's punchbowl.

Then take the stairs down to the beach just down the street to watch the surfers. Will you explore the tidepools or lounge on the beach? But wait, up above the cliffs to the north is Cape Foulweather! much to do you'll wish the day was longer.

Oregon tourism lists the Devils Punchbowl as one of the best whale watching sites in the state. To access one beach you simply go left passing one house, cross the street and walk down the trail to the Marine Gardens beach. You’re likely to see Otters with tide pools and rocky cliffs right there. Don’t get too close but sea lions often bask in the distance and Sea Gull Rock and Otter Rock emerges above the water in the distance. What beautiful tide pools you’ll discover! Please do not disturb any starfish or urchins as you explore, but in low tide you can walk all the way inside the Punchbowl some days and this is the ideal place for the most awesome sunsets! Be prepared to take some of the most stunning photos you have ever taken!

If you are wanting a long walk on the beach or just to have a day lounging all day, The 5js offers a 2nd beach option walking one block south and crossing the street to the park where stairs take you to the long sandy walking beach with a view of the Yaquina Head lighthouse. It’s such a lovely, unique area~ and we are hoping it will be your favorite beach home and you will want to come back again and again!

The 5js is in a very peaceful crime free neighborhood, however we do have two exterior only security cameras.
We do require a separate security deposit through our site that will be refunded to you immediately after your stay. We are a no pet/no esa property no smoking or vaping due to our own health requirements. The 5js is hosted directly and not by a 3rd party. Because we will have direct contact with you after you book your reservation we will be available for any questions you have and for all of your needs. We would like to help you with any recommendations you may need to make your stay at the 5js The best family vacation you have ever had.
A $500 security deposit is required prior to check in. Deposit is made on our platform and fully refundable within 3 days of check out.
