Accommodations, amenities nd location were very good. Best bet for parking though is the parking garage a couple of blocks away. Its 12 a day with security.

Place was dirty. Smelled like mold. Mail disappeared from front door. Either the area is not safe or the cleaning staff stole it.
Arrived at the property and while it’s a little bit confusing on some of the one-way streets, we did get there. An owner was very helpful and allowed us to park right next to the property for the entire weekend so no worries, unloading or finding a place to park the vehicle.Owner was there and very nice throughout the weekend and explained to us anything we needed to know very quickly. Property is in great shape with good heating and air conditioning systems, a well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms, and a super equipped kitchen. The location is excellent and we were just a Uber ride away from everything we wanted to do which fit the bill for our group.Very happy and would return again for another great adventure in Pittsburgh!

Chilling Experience for weekend in Pittsburgh
This stay was off to a bad start given that the only heating in the unit is via wall units and the main unit on the ground flow would not work, it was single digit temperatures, and the unit was freezing. Heaters in the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors did work but it was imperative to get the main floor operational. It was difficult reaching the property manager but when we did, they brought over 2 space heaters so by midnight, we were able to take off our coats. By Saturday, we had figured out how to get some heat out of the 1st floor unit and the space heaters helped make the space livable. The bathrooms have no direct source of heat, so warmth is totally dependent on wall units throughout the house. There were NO instructions detailing how to operate the heaters or other amenities in the unit. And the prop mger did not check back with us until we departed. Also, re: safety, the keypad on the front door was not operating correctly, or self-locking when we entered or exited the unit. As a result, over our first night, the door opened on its own and we awoke at 4:30 AM to the door wide open to the street, which is a back alley. Also, re: safety, the alley is dark and there is no railing on the stone steps leading out the door. The area was icy and dangerous. We appreciated the host amending our check in time earlier to accommodate a 5 PM commitment. But be aware that parking is away from the unit (paid on weekdays), on various side streets.

Ah, technology—so helpful, yet sometimes a bit tricky! We’re sorry to hear you had difficulties during your stay, but after a thorough inspection by both an HVAC professional and a locksmith, we can confirm that both the heating system and the front door lock are in perfect working order.
Regarding the heating, the thermostat does, in fact, function properly (as verified), and there is a manual provided in the unit to help guests adjust it. It seems this might have been a simple case of user error rather than a heating failure. The space heaters were an added measure of comfort, but the main system was operational all along.
As for the front door, our locksmith found no issues. Doors typically don’t open on their own, so we’d advise ensuring they are properly closed when entering and exiting. And about the alley—yes, Pittsburgh winters can be cold and icy. While we can’t control the weather, we always encourage guests to be cautious in winter conditions.
Parking, as noted in our listing, is on nearby side streets, with weekday fees in some areas—standard for city stays.
We truly appreciate your feedback and hope your future travels are a bit less technically challenging. Safe travels!
