Great stay!

This place was perfect for family needs. Clean, spacious, great backyard for kids, very clean pool, 5-10 min drive from anything you need (including beach). Will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

Great for the family vacation

We stayed here for a great family getaway for spring training. Great time all around. The backyard set up is awesome. Host was super responsive and checked in on us. Highly recommend.

Beautiful VRBO close to the gulf beaches

This is a beautiful property with a well maintained outdoor pool close to the beach. It was in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with plenty around to do for people of all ages. I would highly recommend to anyone who does not want the hustle and bustle of the gulf strip, but still want to be close to the action. The property manager was a wonderful communicator and assisted with anything and everything we needed during our stay.

We appreciated several things about this home. The outdoor space was very kid-friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well stocked with beach toys. The outdoor TV and multiple seating areas made it easy for everyone to relax together.Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by a major plumbing failure. One evening, a toilet overflowed due to a property issue and sewage water spread across much of the first floor. It took a while to reach a real person by phone while we were laying down towels and wading through contaminated water. Once a cleaner and plumber arrived, we had to remain outside for the rest of the evening while the home was repaired and sanitized. Afterward, the house had a very strong bleach odor and we were told to wait it out with the windows open.The next day, the host agreed that a one-night refund was appropriate given the severity of what occurred, especially with children and a pregnant guest present.However, that agreement was not honored. After multiple follow-ups over the next month, the property management company declined to issue the refund. We understand emergencies can happen, but this incident made the home unusable for an entire evening. What was most disappointing was not the plumbing issue itself, but how the follow-up and resolution were handled.Future guests should know that while the home has nice features, serious issues may not be resolved in a way that feels consistent with what is communicated.

I’m very sorry about what happened during your stay with the plumbing issue and how disruptive that evening must have been, especially with children and a pregnant guest present. I also hear your frustration around communication and follow-through afterward, and I understand why that left you disappointed. Situations like that are rare, but when they do happen, my goal is always to get them resolved quickly and safely in the moment, and I’m sorry this didn’t feel consistent for you afterward. I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback, and I’ll continue working closely with my team to make sure both response and resolution are handled more clearly and reliably in the future.

We had a similar experience to another review” While the house was fine for the family the pool was cloudy and cold on arrival. It took over 3 days for the issue to be resolved partly because the owners were saving money by not funding parts locally. The issue was caused by the owners having had substandard work done to the pool piping before we arrived. Like the other review the owner agreed to a discount for the three lost days. However, the agreement once again was not honored. After multiple follow ups by both us and VRBO over the next month the owner/property management failed to deliver. I concur with the comments of the previous guests that issues may not be resolved.
