Enjoyed being on the lakefront, the weather was great and the accommodations were as described. Access to kayaks and paddle boards and a great dock to sit and relax on, awesome having coffee on it in the morning and watching the sun come up
Tranquil views of the lake. We made good use of the various watercraft.

The view from the kitchen with the sunrise over the lake as I drank my morning coffee was breathtaking. They had everything I needed, although I always bring my own pots and pants because my daughter has celiac… The host was wonderful and always answered right away..there are even boats to use a fun pub (cheap uber ride) that has karaoke. And grocery nearby there’s even a little park that kids can play in. I would definitely return.
Very nice. The house was modern and up to date. The beds were very comfy! The tub was wonderful for bubble baths and showers. We really enjoyed the soft water. Everything we needed was provided! We loved that the television offered so many options. We even watched all our Sunday football games. We would rent here again if we make it back to the Victoria area.

The only thing that gave it a 3 is the Livingroom was not comfortable and did not accommodate 4 people for sitting.
The suite was well appointed with supplies including all the laundry & bathroom/shower needs. Yard maintenance was active while here & was courteous to not be intrusive at all. Having access to a canoe & good quality life jackets was a nice bonus! We would choose this location again.
A most wonderful, peaceful setting. The unit was spotless, the beds were like clouds and they used quality linens. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Sunny is very prompt with communication and helpful as well. I would love to come back and experience a few days of summer!

Great location
A comfortable little apartment with great king size beds. Living room furniture and table area could use some improvement. Heated bathroom floor is great! Some little additions would help an even better stay ie: lamps, kitchen ware. overall quite
My friend had surgery and this was a perfect place to recuperate. There are few stairs. It is very clean. There is lots of sunlight in the day. There is an easy flat nature trail, about 1 km., that is not on the road, and it is nice to walk there.
This was our first trip to Victoria and we had a fantastic stay in this lake side property in Langford. The house was perfectly located by the lake and had its private deck access to the lake. The house was very comfortable. The living room furniture could be improved. But the king size beds in both the bedrooms were very convenient. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and basic needs. The coffee grinder and machine were a real bonus. Overall our holiday was memorable in this nice property. Thanks to Sunny for being a nice host and very fast in responses to basic queries. Will visit again during our next trip to the same island.
We absolutely loved being right in the water and able to enjoy a drink on the dock. However, the air conditioner was broken and we weren’t even told until after we had checked in and spent a hour trying to figure out how to turn it on n white asking. The house is nice but not set up well for 4 adults. There was not enough seating in the living room for all of us and we had to bring in chairs from outside. The house could have been cleaner, especially outside where there were many cobwebs and dog droppings and the BBQ was unusable. The kitchen also needed to be better equipped, the one frying pan we could find was very well used, and we only had 3 wine glasses (for 4 people). All in all, a lovely location but needs improvement.

Beautiful location and wonderfully quiet! My sister found the instructions for accessing property hard to follow.Kitchenware was lacking, but appliances were good and heated floor in bathroom much appreciated!Dining and living room furniture very hard, but beds were absolutely wonderful!Bedside lamps would be thoughtful and practical.Panels were missing from sliding glass door curtains.I would definitely recommend this place, just needs a few fixes!

Overall pretty disappointing
Pro: - 2 nice sized rooms with small windows easy to black out - lots of board games - excellent laundry facilities - quick to email back if you have any questions Con:- absolutely filthy disgusting yard. Unfit for purpose. Completely unusable. - even after I told the property manager (?) they didn’t do anything to clean it up. - it’s unclear if the person who looks after this is lying or not. They either live in the house above and are lying in their messages or the person we met was lying about being the property manager. We booked this for our family to enjoy the lakeside and spend evenings outside after our kids were asleep. That was absolutely not possible. The backyard had dog toys strewn about, the furniture was broken and dirty, covered in either actual dirt, or cobwebs or dust, leaves and tree needles. There were dirty old games and inflatables around the yard that were so disgusting I wouldn’t let my toddler touch them. It was very disappointing that the yard was in such a state given the price we paid (as we could have found a property that was similar and just the inside for cheaper). And that it wasn’t cleaned up even after I asked for it to be tidied. The kitchen also had dried cooked pasta in the pots, and there were ants in the bathroom.

Not as expected
Arrived in the rain to not being able to access the unit. Poor locks. The place was just lovely once inside though! Outdoors was ok - lots of mess around such as deflated kids pool toys, garbage & recycling strewn all over plus mold covering the fire pit BBQ - couldn't even use them. We were told fishing rods were available - one was completely broken (no reel) & the other, my son had to fix. Furniture was rickety with cracks & all about to break. My son sat in a chair & it broke. We spent the rest of the visit sitting on the floor to watch TV & even eat as we worried more furniture would break. When we left, I left some condiments in the fridge for the next guest plus some veggies/fruit. I left a small box of recyclables on the countertop seeing as the outside box was overflowing. There was 1 piece of wood left at the door as we had planned to have a roast but decided against it after seeing the fluffy mold on the pit. I received a bill for 8 hours of cleaning! We used 1 bedroom in a tiny place. They claimed we left a piece of wood out, used extra toilet paper, & left food in the fridge. Seems owner knew the chair was poor yet couldn't charge me for it so added 2 extra hours of cleaning. Didn't make sense & VRBO agreed it didn't add up (I have their email to me). Reach out to me via IG for photos. Lovely area - poor & unethical host.
