Private Fishing Dock on the Kenai River ( SHARED WITH THE REST OF THE PROPERTY GUESTS)!!!
Welcome home to your beautiful fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom downstairs suite. Your suite includes all appliances, dishes and linens; all you need to bring is your toothbrush and your favorite coffee! Some of the many features of the apartment are central heating , central vacuum, private fishing dock and sun deck just to name a few. You are just three minutes from shopping and dining but you will feel the peace and quiet of the country with nature all around you. The breath-taking view of the Kenai River is just outside your door !! You'll be able to fish from the dock all summer, and our convenient fish cleaning station will make preparing your catch even easier and vacuum sealer ( bag not provided ). We also provide a huge deep freezer for your catch! Cable and WI-FI are also provided . Soldotna is the perfect location for your Alaskan adventure. We are 3 hours from Anchorage, close to the Russian River, Homer & Seward and just few miles from shops and restaurants.

This apartment is available to rent for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year at a time. Price is different for the length of time you stay and for the time of year you wish to stay with us. Please call me to discuss your preferences and the current daily/weekly/monthly/annual cost.

Great property right on the river with terrific fishing access. Also, had a tremendous fish processing area with a state of the art vacuum sealer. The rooms were clean and spacious. The owner was very hands on and available at all times.

Incredible Stay!

We loved our time here! The suite was spotless and the views so beautiful! Sarah was an incredible host, supplying us with fishing rods and a life jacket for our son. Would definitely stay here again!

Sarah was a fantastic host. She went out of her way to get anything we needed. Loaned us fishing boots, fish scaler, and even cooked homemade chowder for us.Only small complaint was kids running around above us on upper floor for a couple nights created a little noise. Would also recommend replacing small beds with bunk beds with queen size on bottom and twin on top.

A cozy spot on the Kenai

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights to attend a family wedding nearby. In addition to the wedding events we explored the beautiful area, and enjoyed coming home to this cozy place each evening. It was well stocked and very clean. The river is right out there, and the best moose sightings were on the road in front. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. This property is on the River and has a dock and cleaning station. A bottle of wine and snacks were waiting for us in the kitchen. The hosts are lovely, gracious people. WE will defiantly return.

Excellent hostess & amazing fishing!!

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! We were surprised that this was one unit of four units when we arrived (based on the listing description), but the hostess took time to explain the set up and encouraged us to give it a try. We did and it was the right choice. The fishing was amazing and we met several other guests and had great conversations. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic people! We had a rental car fall through and the owners borrowed us their truck for the rest of our trip. They made a happy ending to our Alaska adventure. In all our world wide travels, we have never seen such love and generosity. Beautiful location right on the river. We had a blast.

My husband and I spent 3 days in Sarah's house in Soldotna. I just have no words to describe the beauty and comfort of this cozy and very clean place. Ours special thanks to the owner of the house Sarah! She is extraordinary person, she took care of us like family. So much warmth and kindness in this person. Great Location on the Kenai!

The best thing about this property is the location. It is beautifully situated on the lower Kenai River in Soldotna. There is a dock from which you can fish -- and catch lots of fish. The fish are swimming upstream in mass and you can see the fish swim directly under and in front of the dock. Unfortunately, the only fish we caught from the dock were Pink Salmon, which we immediately released -- (not a big fan for the taste of Pink Salmon). The host is a wonderfully nice woman who is available to help you with anything you need. The accommodations itself is just so-so. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 comfortable twin beds each. The kitchen is way too small to really enjoy preparing the good fish you catch (or anything else). With that said, however, my 2 adult sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at this property.

Great experience for fishing trip!

BREATHTAKING! Pictures do not do this place any justice! Fishing in the back yard is millions dollars worth for my family, kids fished day and night! Sarah were so accommodating and left the home super clean! I can say this is one of the BEST homes I’ve ever stayed at for fishing trips. Thank you for the amazing experience!!
