"Pura Vida" is a phrase used in Costa Rica that means "Pure Life" or "Full of Life". This property definitely lives up to that name with its hand cut and crafted wooden floors, walls and accents. All of the wood and stone in this home has been hand-selected from the trees and creek that exist on the property. The kitchen cabinets are crafted from reclaimed wood that was once part of Arnold Palmer's Club House. Whitetail Deer Antler fixtures, hand-crafted Sassafras wood stair railings and so much more bring nature to life within Pura Vida. Outdoor Fire Pit on site. High Speed Internet and Satellite TV!

Quiet Getaway

We got snowed in and I can’t think of a better place for that to happen! Enjoyed the house, the woods, the bedrooms, and the hot tub. Nice and clean

Amazing place off the grid!

Overall the property was amazing. Well secluded but lots to do within a few miles. This is out in the woods so you can expect low water pressure. When we first arrived the upstairs smelled like sewage but the area recently got a lot of rain and as soon as we started using the water/drains in went away. This place is spacious and worked perfect for our aunt/niece getaway! Very cozy and the beds were very comfortable! This house had everything basic you needed down to some shampoo and soap!

Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay, very few complaints.The tap water has a strong rust smell & taste, which is common when on a well, but a couple of gallons of Spring water would be great! There were only three of us, so we each had our own bedroom, one of my criteria. Next trip to Ohiopyle, would probably go with something smaller. My son is planning a gathering of friends and is going to consider this property.

Fall Family Weekend

Cabin was clean and spacious. Lovely, private setting in the woods while close to Ohiopyle. Also, it just happened to be the most beautiful autumn weather weekend of the year. Lucky us!

Secluded and spacious

Beautiful secluded property close to all Ohiopyle activities. Dog friendly. Comfortable. Clean. Outdoor spaces to explore on property. Lots of taxidermy which is off-putting but comfort made up for it.

Love this place!

This house was a pleasant surprise. Nice wooded setting and wraparound porch with lots of chairs and grill. Interior got rave reviews from our group. The outdoor/hunting theme was carried out throughout. Everything was clean and handy. Sleeping accommodations were clean and comfortable. The house had a lot of the thing over and above what the listing said would be there. We highly recommend this place!

Each time everything is clean and ready to go when we walk in the door, and has everything necessary to make the stay stress free. It has several paths for short walks in the woods and, when the seasons allow, some beautiful streams.

Wonderful Getaway

I wanted to take my sister to Falling Waters and stayed here for two nights; I wish it had been longer. The drive there was wonderful, and the directions were spot on. The place is so spacious and comfortable (there were nine of us!). We were lucky that there was light snowing almost the whole time we were there! The kitchen has everything you need (except food of course), enough towels and beds for everyone. The hot tub outside while it was snowing was a highlight for me, so relaxing! Wish the inside fireplace worked but there is a firepit outside (we didn't use it, the temperature inside was perfect). There are board games and TVs. Washer and Dryer (we didn't use it). Definitely recommend!

The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils, pots and pans as well as dish cloths, bath towels and wash cloths. Everything was just as described. The front porch is very nice to sit out front in the morning, have some coffee and just relax. The cabin is close to activities yet very isolated and private. Overall, a great place to stay and enjoy nature! I was there with three other buddies on a college reunion get away (year 40!) and we had a great time.

Very clean and well maintained. Only issue was the one family member has mobility issues, so you may consider adding some more equipment to accommodate such as a safety bar in the bathrooms and maybe a ramp of some sort for people with these issues to get in and out more easily Hot tub was great and in good repair

Stayed here with a group of friends for our OhioPyle vacation. A few minutes from everything but also feels like you're in the middle of the woods. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after a day of rafting. House was well appointed. Would definitely stay again.
