This was located so convenient to USC for moving my daughter in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. The host thought of everything even shampoo and body wash in the shower. The house was so warm and welcoming.
Positive: Location was great and convenient for going back and forth to Fort Jackson and the AC works great! Negative: House was not clean, ice maker had mold all in it and there were spiders crawling everywhere, dead roaches on the ground in multiple rooms and cobwebs all in the corners of the rooms. There was an overwhelming musty/moldy smell when you walked in the front door.
The house was so comfortable, air conditioning was incredible and the washer and dryer was so convenient. We had a great stay to see someone during Family Day and Graduation on Fort Jackson.
Property owner was extremely kind in letting us check in an hour early! House was very clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed. Only downside was the lack of outlets in the main bedroom.
"We had an amazing stay at this charming home! The home was spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the stores and local restaurants. Hayley was a wonderful host, providing great recommendations and quick responses to our questions. We especially loved the peacefulness where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!"
The home was perfect for us to see our son graduate from boot camp at Fort Jackson. It was 21 minutes to Gate 4. Beautiful set up with two bedrooms and two baths. Set off the road and very quaint. We appreciated all amenities and answering questions from the host. Easy instructions for arriving and leaving. Our son had comfortable day relaxing with his family before moving to a new base.
We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly helpful and communicated clearly and promptly throughout our visit. The house was clean, modern, and thoughtfully set back from the street, which made it feel very peaceful and private. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a coffee station—such a nice touch for our mornings. We also appreciated the travel-size toiletries; my daughter especially loved them for removing her makeup. Everything about this stay was comfortable and well thought out. Highly recommend!
Great location to Fort Jackson for our sons graduation. Quiet neighborhood. Close to food and grocery. We liked the fact it was a two bed, two bath. The hall bath is a lil snug between the toilet and sink if your tall it will be tight. It is an older home and it does lack electric outlets in the bedrooms, but they did have an extension cord to plug into.
Overall, our impression was great! The house looked exactly like the pictures online—clean, tidy, and very welcoming. The location was convenient, close to many restaurants and attractions, and the neighborhood was quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the space was perfect for my family, including our 3-year-old.The only downside was the animal hair. While not visible at first glance, it ended up on my son’s socks and clothes after playing on the floor. Also, there were quite a few mosquitoes outside, which made it hard for my son to play outdoors for long.Despite those minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you for hosting us!
The property was clean and just as described. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. It was a good location for us going back and forth to USC several times, and very close to shopping (Target, Food Lion, etc).
