Here you can experience the canal that accesses into the best of Okeechobee Lake or a little over a mile away you can choose to launch your boat at Okeetantie Park  or Scott Driver. After bringing home your catch of crappie, bass or numerous other fish available, you will find a covered, lighted fish station with water hookup . Park your boat in the private boat lift and come home to sunny Florida weather on the covered front and back lightly furnished patios. Or watch the fish jump under the large umbrella on the dock. Home comes complete with a gas grill to enjoy barbecues on a well lighted covered porch. Or, explore nearby attractions like Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail and the Trading Post Flea Market as well as many great restaurants  like  Pueblo Viejo that WE give a 5 star rating or  Friday evenings only enjoy catfish at nearby Buckhead Ridge Moose Lodge. In the evening relax in this single story , comfortable, cozy retreat with a step down game room / third bedroom complete with queen  Murphy bed/ multi purpose room with folding card table and chairs and two electric recliners. This  2,000 sq foot home offers 3 sleeping areas . one MB  with Queen size bed and second bedroom with 2 queen bunks, Third combo private queen Murphy bed bedroom/game room. The two bathrooms offer MB bath with garden tub and extra shower, and full guest bath. .Get relaxed on an electric reclining couch, electric reclining chairs, along with two more couches and a love seat as you watch your favorite shows on one of the four Roku and Fire Stick television's with a fifth TV coming in December for the game room/ third bedroom with Murphy bed. For fishing enthusiasts, Ample parking accommodates 3-4 trucks and boat trailers with a carport and additional roadside parking. Get to your car without getting wet as the carport is huge with a RV hookup, possible (you set up )pickleball court. Enjoy modern comforts like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen with a Kurig coffeemaker, Airfryer, blender, food processor and trio crock pot,etc. Enjoy dining at the family sized farmhouse table that extends to accommodate 10 people along with 3 additional barstools at the dining bar. Relaxing

When you come in from a long day fishing, you want to have enough room for the whole group to relax. With all the couches, recliners, & cushion chairs we were able to do that just fine. Most places don’t have this. The house is very clean & the air conditioner makes it very comfortable. This was a great place to stay.

My husband and I have never lived anywhere other than beautiful Kentucky. We love to fish, (but just at Okeechobee), enjoy our grandchildren, go to services at church, and I play at pickleball. He loves to hunt moose, elk and deer. We love to share the comfort of our serene getaway home with other visitors who are Okeechobee fishing enthusiasts .

Why they chose this property

We love the Buckhead Ridge Community where this house is located due the close proximity to the lake and river. The Buckhead moose Lodge is just down the street for great catfish on Friday night and so is a quaint little market / restaurant. It’s such a close , friendly community full of people who care for each other, wrapping it in charm .

What makes this property unique

2000 sq. foot house has plenty of room for privacy or interaction with friends and family. Huge carport would make a great pickleball court! Get in out of the rain from parking without even getting wet! It is Beautifully decorated in calming blue accenting the natural colors of the canal at the back yard.
