We enjoyed our stay. Well prepared property
Wish we had known how close to the major road it was. The pictures made us think it was secluded.

Hi Leon,
Thank you for staying with us. One of the best features of our property is that we are 5 minutes to Chico, Sage Lodge, the Old Saloon, Follow Ur Nose BBQ and much more. We are located off highway 89 as pictured on the drone shot of the two buildings in the listing.
The host and property were amazing. We had a five-star experience with this booking from the start. The host was incredibly helpful and engaging and the property was phenomenal. It was extremely clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything from charging bricks to a variety of kitchen supplies and amenities. We loved the location for the privacy it gave us, coupled with the convenient proximity to Emigrant, Yellowstone, and other activities and locations. We will for sure look to stay here again!
The Trout House was perfect for our quick Paradise Valley visit. It was well appointed with everything you need. The bed was comfortable and black out curtains kept the sun out. It’s a very cute cabin, great for our family of 4. We will definitely be staying there again. Jen the host was very communicative and easy to work with.
The property was absolutely amazing and the house was fully furnished and well equipped. Our host Jennifer was awesome and we will be back. Could not be happier with our experience at this property.
This property is located in an extremely beautiful setting with gorgeous mountain views. It is close to Chico Hot Springs and Yellowstone. The house itself was clean and cozy. It was pretty tight for our group of 5 adults (and nearly adults).
Great place. Only issues were the beds. The mattresses are very old and very uncomfortable.

Hi Daisy,
Thank you for choosing to vacation with us. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Trout House. We take great pride in providing our Guest with comfortable accommodations, especially our sleeping arrangements! We appreciate your feedback regarding the mattresses and apologize that you found them uncomfortable.
We are happy to announce late in 2019 we swapped the full bed for a new queen bed in the Trout master bedroom. Recent guests have found it very comfortable.
We hope you can return soon and enjoy the upgraded bed. Enjoy your day!
We had a great time staying at the Trout Lodge! It was perfect size for our little family, our dogs loved the yard space and even went swimming in the little creek. Tanya was one of the easiest managers to work with. Access to the property was super easy as well. It was well equipped with what we needed and I don't have any complaints. Thank you!!

Thank you for the kind words, Amber! Unfortunately we are no longer dog friendly but we would consider very well behaved dogs with vacation rental references. Thank you for being great guests and please come back and stay with us again soon. -Tanya

Adorable Mountain Cottage!
I did not stay in Trout Cabin, but part of our group did. It is just as comfortable as the larger cabin and very beautifully decorated with original artwork and western furnishings. Very spacious with a gas fireplace and wonderful bath and kitchen. Same incredible mountain views as larger cabin and just as accommodating. A perfect choice for a family or small group of hunters or fishermen.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for double sharing with Moose and Trout! Both amazing houses and we were so lucky to host you. I know you'll be back soon. :) Tanya
The property was as advertised. I was actually more pleased with the layout than what I could see in the pictures. Kitchen was well organized and functional. We stayed in the room with the queen bed and it was super comfortable. If you are looking for a nice place that can comfortably sleep six this is a good choice. We went to Yellowstone in half an hour and Chico Hot Springs was only a few minutes away. Any questions we had were answered promptly by our host Tanya. I’d definitely go back.

It was a pleasure hosting you, we hope to host you again soon!
Trout House is a great resting place. We used it as our base to travel in and out of Yellowstone and explore the surrounding area. Your drive into the park will be 30 minutes. We didn’t mind this as the peace and serenity of the property was very worth it. The house is very clean. It has all the appliances you need. Washer was a bonus. The green lawn and gardens are impeccable. There is a notebook of information that really helps navigate the area. Our pup was content and got excited each day we returned to the cabin. Living space with kitchen is open and roomy. Property manager was responsive and quick. We had all the information we needed on the property right after booking. Self check in. Self check out. Although you are close to the highway, we did not hear the traffic. Very grateful we found this gem.
