The cabin is secluded, rustic and quaint. We had a great time with our grandchildren teaching them how to fish and exploring Desoto State Park. Truly a majestic place if your looking for a peaceful stay to make memories.

Cabin was exactly as pictured- a wonderful getaway deep in the woods surrounded by 6 ponds. Saw turkey and deer, close to Desoto State Park. Short drive to Lookout Mountain. Plan to book again in spring! Host is friendly and responsive

We loved our stay here! The kids loved the rustic cabin and outdoor space. My son and my husband fished for hours and caught bass and bream. WiFi is great here. Very quaint and cozy, but clean and well appointed. Nice, full size toiletry items and a nice hairdryer in the bathroom. The bathroom lighting is a little dim, especially when taking a shower, but it wasn’t a big issue. If you are tall like my husband you will have to remember to duck through the doorways. The history of the cabin is so neat and we had a great time!
