Check in was flawless! You revive your code well before check in time. The hosts are great! Easy to get in touch with. They provided coffee, a filtered water pitcher and ice for the stay. Cooktop and an air fryer are also provided for quick easy cooking! Will definitely book here again it was quiet and peaceful and just a short drive to quite the views!
This rental was decorated beautifully. The setting is peaceful with a babbling brook. We were able to visit so many free state parks and overlooks. But the best part is the care that you receive. Extra towels, coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper. The air conditioner and fans were magical. The bed was extremely comfortable! Highly recommend and plan to return! Check out the boat launch only 3 minutes away. This is the best stay we have had at a vrbo. Thank you!
This is a very small cabin but it was perfect for just myself & my small dog. It was very clean. Had great water pressure & very large & thick bath towels. For some people the A/C might not be cooling enough but with the ceiling fan it was fine. There is a washer & dryer as stated but it’s in a separate building which I wasn’t told in the communication but a neighbor was very kind & showed me where it was. Plus you need a code to get in. There was a Brita for filtered water. Overall my stay was great.

Not what we expected
It was smaller than we thought. There was a sticker, like from a piece of fruit on the back of the sink. I admittedly did not do my dishes because I'd never stayed in a Vrbo that didn't have dish soap. It was a little more than 90 degrees out and the air conditioner barely blew any air. We left after our 1st night of a 3 night reservation.
My wife, myself and our dog stayed for one night on our annual trip from Michigan to North Carolina. We absolutely love the New River Gorge area, so we always book a night somewhere in the area around Hinton. Many of the available rentals in the area are very near to the train tracks. It's fun watching the trains go by but the noise can be a bit much. We booked this cabin to avoid the loud train noise. It turned out to be a wise choice because we all got a great night's sleep. On the way into town we grabbed some food at the Kroger in Hinton and made full use of the cabin's kitchen to prepare our dinner. The kitchen was adequately supplied with cooking elements and the new stove and other appliances worked well. In the evening, and again the next morning, we took our dog to Bluestone State Park for a nice stroll along the river. There are 2 State Parks within 10 minutes of the cabin, Bluestone being the closest, which is only a couple miles north. The host, Leslie, was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. We will likely stay here again on our trip next year if the cabin is available.
