This charming 3 bedroom/2bath apartment is steps away from the plaza, arts and cultural district, restaurants, shopping and nightlife in the center of Historic Downtown Taos. Located on the 2nd story of one of the oldest buildings in Taos, you will see views of downtown and Taos Mountain from every window. Enjoy dining, famous New Mexico sunsets, and stargazing on the 400 sq ft rooftop deck.

Pet friendly, we welcome one pet. There is a $75 pet fee per visit. Please add your pet before booking.

The space:
1250 sq ft with a spacious living, dining and kitchen area. Primary bedroom has a king bed, large windows and a TV. Second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has two twin beds. Hardwood floors, kiva fireplace, two skylights, 50 GB fiber internet service and two parking spaces are just outside the door.

Other things to note:
The space is in an urban area overlooking the quaint patio of the little shop downstairs, tea.o.graphy. You will be steps away from enjoying teas, coffee, and sweet snacks.
Taos is not a late-night town and tends to shut down by 10pm most nights. This apartment is in a prime downtown location, you may hear occasional nighttime sounds typical of a vibrant small town (sirens, passing cars, etc.). Most guests love the energy and walkability! We want you to enjoy your stay so please reach out if you need anything.

An incredibly well appointed flat. The rooms are nice and airy and so comfortable. The position was right in town and perfect for our party of three women travelling together. Communication with our host was excellent. This was a great base to explore Taos. Without a car it is tricky to find transport out to the pueblo but we persevered. The bus does not run on the weekends which was a disappointment and we were eventually lucky enough to get a rare Uber. A beautiful town and great coffee from Tomorrow and Tomorrow.

This IN-Town Apartment was unbelievably convenient! We were able to walk to Meetings and Visit Friends in town. We never had to drive, we just walked everywhere. The apartment is Spotlessly CLEAN Clean, Beds are GooD! We all slept very well here! This is a Super little Upstairs Apartment! It does have GooD AC and a Lovely Patio Deck Viewing Area wHeRe we enjoyed a Snow Covered Mountain Top View to the South! We also enjoyed having all of Our Meals, when not out at a Fantastic Event or Restaurant, outside on the Patio. The Apartment is very private and is equipped with all the Amenities you will need! Really charming and surprisingly roomy. The structure and furnishings reflected Taos and New Mexico. Beautiful tile! Really good impression. One issue that startled us was something that was beyond their control -- the noise at night. It seemed that there were so many sirens, tires screeching and car horn blaring far into the night!

Most guests find it manageable and love being able to walk everywhere, but we understand it can be surprising if you're used to quieter areas. We have been coming to Taos for 25 years, first as vacationeers' to the surrounding areas. We discovered we spent most of our time in Taos, so bought our first family vacation home not far from where we are now. However, we still wanted to be in town. When we had the opportunity to purchase this wonderful old property we could not resist. Owning a piece of Taos history is an honor and privilege for us. We love being able to walk through the galleries and shops at our leisure. Then stoping in at one of our favorite restaurants for lunch or margaritas and nachos with friends. If we want to venture out to go site seeing or ski it is easier from town, we can be most anywhere within a 30 minute to an hours drive. We love to go do all the things the surrounding areas have to offer and then come back to town and still have so many options for dinner and entertainment.

Why they chose this property

This location is Taos, the best of NM. It is all right here, plenty of year-round activities. Our Rooftop apartment in the heart of Taos's Historic and Arts District puts you in the midst of it all. Everything is within steps of our apartment, yet no one knows you are there, hidden in plain view! Our apartment encompasses the second story of the original Travelers Hotel (circa early 1900's). Even though we are right downtown you can still enjoy magnificent mountain views and Taos sunsets on the oversized deck or through the windows.

What makes this property unique

The best aspects about this apartment are its size and location. You are right downtown, within walking distance to the Historic Plaza, the best restaurants, nighttime entertainment, art galleries, shopping, all that Taos has to offer. This is a home with everything you need, with plenty of room for your family and friends. A downtown space of this size that can accommodate six guest is very rare, especially with off street parking.
