About this property
Warren's Point in Little Compton - Blissful views, Victorian house
We rent the North End of this large and lovely house. You'll have a comfortable and private space that's perfect for a couple or small family. You'll love the ocean vistas, the large yard for playing games, the covered porch for reading and chatting. There are three bedrooms (double bed, twin beds, single bed) 1.5 baths, outdoor shower, combined living/dining room, a small kitchen, a large covered porch, a hammock under a shady tree, and a large yard with ocean views. The yard is well-suited for whiffle ball or other outdoor games.
The house is located on a private point, within easy walking distance to either the swimming beach (Warren's Point Beach Club) or the 'rocky beach.' The beach is private, so if you want access, you will need to become a temporary member ($450/week).
For bicyclists and runners, this is a delightful location because you can enjoy biking or running on shaded, scenic country roads. At night, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. In the morning, you'll wake up to the sun rising over the ocean.
You won't regret taking an off-season vacation; September and October are very nice, as are May and June (though the ocean is cooler for swimming then). The nice part about renting in before June 15th and after Labor Day is free access to the swimming beach; it is a private beach club during the summer and incurs an additional membership fee.
Note: The State of RI assesses a rental tax that gets added to your fee. The cleaning fee is an additional $80 (paid in cash at the time of departure),

About the host
Hosted by Nancy Clark

This house has been in the family for years. It's a classic RI summer house. We rent the North End; I grew up in the South End and we live there most of the time. The North End has it's own entrance, plenty of privacy, and is enjoyed by all who choose to rent it. Unused rooms in the middle of the house buffer the North and South ends, so noise and privacy are not an issue.
Why they chose this property
The house has been passed down through the generations. tilt in 1871, you will want to enjoy it's history, charm, and peaceful pleasures. The location is ideal ... ocean views, easy walk to the beach, big yard, wonderful porch. Our friends have referred to this as a "happy home", saying they love seeing the families on the porch relaxing, reading, enjoying meals, chatting, playing games ... renewing themselves. When you get our of your car, you'll take a deep breath of ocean air and your stress will then dissipate. Ahhhhhh.... peaceful!
What makes this property unique
What you'll love about this house is the porch and it's panoramic views. The porch is shaded, cool and comfortable, offers a peaceful ocean vista, and it so relaxing. Most renters enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinners on the porch, to say nothing of reading books and chatting with friends on the porch! You'll also love the yard -- perfect for whiffle ball, frisbees, and croquet. The inside is clean and comfortable, complete with jigsaw puzzles and games for a rainy day.
