Disliked: Amenities
The lodge is outdated and drab. The room is carpeted and dated. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok. TV wasn’t a smart tv just had a dvd player. No pot holders in the kitchen. No salt/pepper- just the basic kitchen cookware. Bedroom with a window to the hallway is odd- and contributed to the ski boot clomping and kids or loud talkers in the hallway. The biggest pet peeve is The lodge blocked the restrooms for the kids in ski school so there is no where to change to go ski if arriving early or on your last day. After driving 9 hours and arriving early it would have been nice to have a bathroom. The lobby has a fireplace but never was lit bc it wasn’t cold enough (it was
20° and the door was propped open to the outside). If the lodge and the rooms were updated it would be a great stay simply because of location but I’m afraid this place is bottom of the barrel.
