Beautiful views

A very nice condo and complex. WE had a few items that needed attention when we checked in and the owner was very responsive.

Over furnished

The condo was beautiful and clean but overly furnished. Seemed a little too much furniture which made it hard to get around. Over all it was pleasant but would’ve seemed a lot larger without so much furniture.

Beautiful home

Have to give a 5 star review, the owner/manager was super welcoming, easy to communicate with and not only that but the home was a little piece of heaven, super clean, and with the most beautiful view. Will definitely be coming back.

Paradise!

The views were outstanding! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to hear the waves from the balcony, but it should not have been a worry at all. All amenities were open and perfect for teens! Our last few days were rainy and we made the most of it by going seashell hunting and watched surfers during the storms. It was beautiful! Thank you Sonja…enjoyed our stay! The best rental we’ve in SPI!

Great stay with some fixable misses

We've stayed at the Sapphire many times over the last 10 years and just love it! This time was just a bit off for us. When we arrived they said the owner hadn't told them to expect us and needed to call her to make sure it was ok to let us in. It was remedied quickly but felt a bit odd. The condo was very nicely appointed, with the views we've come to love at the Sapphire. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper in any of the restrooms, and all soap dispensers were empty. The mattress in the master bedroom was a particular challenge. The coils are well-worn so you sink deeply into the bed. The bigger challenge was the box spring which makes so much noise that any movement on the bed results in very loud creaking. Many of the drawers in the master bed & bath were filled with personal belongings so it made it difficult to unpack and actually use them. We had a very lovely time in SPI, but these things fell just short, especially for the premium paid to stay here. The owner Sonja did call us on the first night, so we definitely appreciate that gesture. This could be a 5 star review with a few tweaks that I hope the owner finds helpful for the next guests.

Impeccable décor – spectacular views

I have enjoyed many vacations at South Padre Island over the years. I usually make at least one or two trips a year and have stayed at many different condo complexes. I have enjoyed most of them, but many of the condo complexes at SPI are starting to show their age. The Sapphire is in much better shape and quite a bit more impressive. This condo had a great floor plan was impeccably decorated. Everyone is our group had multiple positive comments about the layout and decorations. It felt like home and upscale at the same time. The view from both balconies, the bayside and oceanfront, were spectacular. The pool was impressive. The location was also perfect. Close enough to shopping to walk, but just far enough away to avoid crowds (even on July fourth weekend). I don’t have any hesitations in recommending this unit. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

Amazing condo

I stayed at this fabulous condo this month with family. I can truly say this was an amazing place. The condo was very roomy, beautifully decorated, clean and the views truly were fabulous. I have never stayed at a condo where you had a view of the ocean as well as the bay. It was amazing. The swimming pool is beautiful at this resort and the hot tub is very spacious. It is a great location, has covered parking which is very nice in the heat of summer. I would certainly recommend this condo to anyone who enjoys the beach and loves a view and likes the luxury of a beautiful place to stay.

Best Sisters weekend ever

My three sisters and I rented this condo for our annual Sisters Weekend, It was simply wonderful. Beautiful views both north and south. So may immenties. Glorious pool. And beach location was spectacular. We would defintely come here again. This owner has gone all out for their guests. Loved every minute of it. I would and will recommend this condo to my frineds and family. Pictures were just like it is. We all had so much fun.

My three sisters and I just spent such a glorious time in this condo. Not only is this condo beautiful, it is comfortable. This owner has taken the time to fully prepare this condo for guests. All that we needed was our personal belongings and some groceries. We hope to visit again next year. Thank you, owner, for such a great retreat space. We loved every minute of our time there.
