The cottage has a peaceful and beautiful setting. We especially enjoyed the sun room with the views of the water. Ashley was very prompt in responding to any questions... a gracious host.

Wonderful place, great trip to get away and have a short stay on our way to pulaski! The house is the perfect feel for a cabin on the lake! Perfectly stocked with necessities and comfortable!

Fun cottage rental. Port Bay is really nice, and the cottage has everything you need to have a good time. The cottage was clean and well stocked. I will likely rent this one again.

Nice, one floor cottage. Kitchen had many items to cook and bake with. Lots of blankets and heaters if needed. Some items in the outdoor deck box to make a fire for s'mores. Will need kindling in the future. The view was beautiful! Mattresses were nice and we all slept well! Quiet because we went off season. Would definitely come back! Messages were answered quickly!

Peaceful Cottage on the Water

Nice quiet neighborhood and relaxing couple of days. We were able to see the aurora borealis while we were there, which made our stay even more special. Chimney Bluffs State Park is just a short trip away and is a great hike with fantastic views! Looking forward to returning next year!

Perfect waterfront getaway

Cute quiet peninsula on port bay. Easy to launch our boat at the local marina and dock at the property. A nice chunk of yard space for the kids to play as well. Would definitely return again!

Second stay at the cottage

The property is great. We stayed there last September and had to go back. Ashley is a great host. Cottage is very clean, stocked with everything one would need during a stay. Fishing is great, and the use of the canoe and kayaks is a huge plus. Neighbors are quiet and the house is in a private, not busy area. We enjoyed our stay and plan to go back again soon.

Peaceful paradise

If you want peace and quiet, beautiful views from enormous sunroom, comfy beds, lovely cottage with fire pit and a grill for your dinner needs… come here. You won’t regret it. The photos don’t do it justice.

We overall enjoyed our stay. It was a bit chilly as it only has a couple of electric heaters but it was okay. Pretty comfortable overall. Could use a few more kitchen utensils and better knives but it worked for a couple of days.

Fishing Paradise

We rented this cottage for a 4-day weekend in early October to go fishing. My daughter caught over 60 fish right from the dock! The cottage was clean and spacious. Everything needed was provided. All we needed to bring was food, clothes, and fishing equipment. We'll be renting again next year.

Wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage in the perfect location on Port Bay. The expansive sun room provided lots of space for a variety of activities. We loved drinking our coffee in the morning while enjoying the views of the bay. The only recommendations we have is to place trash baskets in the bedrooms and bathroom not just the kitchen. The kitchen was lacking in mixing bowls and storage containers. A larger trash can in the storage shed and a recycling bin would be a plus too. The entry door into the sunroom does not open well so a quick fix to that is needed. Other than those few small tweaks this was a wonderful place to vacation and we will be back for sure. Thanks for your hospitality!

Clean, quaint cottage

Property was spacious. The lake facing porch was huge and had windows all around . We literally lived there. Good appliances. Clean kitchen and bath. There were linens clean and the beds were made up but We brought our own sleeping bags. Beds and pull out were great. Water was instant hot and had good pressure. Bathroom shower, toilet, sink, lighting Was excellent. The presence of invasive species purple loose strife was sad. The area around the dock was algae and weedy. There Was no shade. Fire Pit was perfectly placed and there was a storage bin for the wood. Went to use the gas grill but had to spend about 1)2 hour to clean it. Very greasy. The side tables were coated with dust and grease. Worked great when we cooked with it. I would love to see a yard clean up and yhe water edge cleaner.
