Nice home on quiet small lake. A little odd that there were no life jackets for the unpowered water craft available to use. The property was a short walk from an excellent cider house, a real treat to find in an otherwise rural area. The host was very responsive to our needs. I would recommend this property for adults and families with children, but not mobility impaired persons due to stairs and threshold Barriers

The cabin had plenty of room for our 50th anniversary celebration with our family! Really enjoyed our time there. Had a wonderful time on Jack’s pontoon. Great place! Would stay there again.

A Great Family Getaway

This was a wonderful trip in a lovely cabin on a peaceful lake! Everything was in very nice shape, Jack was very helpful, and we particularly enjoyed the pontoon for fishing and water fun. The cabin set up and decor are an added bonus, with multiple comfortable bedrooms!

We got married this past weekend at the 1910 sip house. The a frame was the perfect place to stay and it offered easy access to our wedding venue, and allowed our kids a place of rest and escape from the busy events.

Great weekend at a wonderful retreat!

Matt and Melissa are wonderful hosts. They are very responsive and I couldn't ask for better people to deal with! The lake didn't have a lot of boating activity and the views are wonderful. If our family doesn't get any bigger we would love to stay again.

We choose this location because of the location. In-between battle lake and ottertail. Lake Ethal is a wonderful peaceful lake.. the 1910 Sip House is an added bonus just 2 doors down.. its such a fun place to visit..
