Great property with a short drive to all area attractions. Modern appliances and just the right size for our family of 6. We enjoyed the game room with full size air hockey! Would stay again.
We had an absolutely lovely time in this gem of a home. The location was ideal - just outside downtown Hudson - and despite over a foot of snowfall, we weren't worried about getting stuck the way we might've been in a more remote location (a friend staying in another VRBO in the area did actually have a snow-related emergency). The home itself, newly renovated, was absolutely comfortable for our group of 5 adults. Beds were firm and comfy, living room seating was plentiful and cozy, and the kitchen was great for home-cooking, with brand new appliances. The best part, in my opinion, was actually the host, who was absolutely available & responsive and made us feel welcome and cared-for. It felt like home, which is how it's meant to be!
The house is clean and well kept and the owner could not have been nicer. Answered any questions quickly and gave great recommendations for activities and restaurants. My friends and I had not see each other for a while so the house was perfect for lounging around and chatting. Kitchen was perfect for long coffees and talking. Great location close to town and close to market etc.
Very clean. Excellent games room. Comfortable beds. Very good facilities in kitchen and garden. Brilliantly good shower. Made the best of being in a fairly good but not outstanding area. Only negatives were insufficient electric points in the largest bedroom, and no way of turning off the light on the big ‘Magnolia’ sign, as the remote control was missing. I would recommend for a family stay.
Hi Eileen- not sure what you mean by combination were fine and the lower than 5 star review. We did do our best to accommodate your every request including early check in even though we needed the time for a same day turn over. Also would have appreciated a message if anything was not up to your expectations. All the communication between us stated only a positive experience. We are always here to accommodate with whatever the ask may be.
The house was very comfortable and hosts made the effort to have it feel welcoming. Lots of good towels which I appreciate. Having Keurig coffee also much appreciated. The game room was just silly fun. Good location short drive from town. Great stay. My only feedback is that there was no welcoming information provided ahead of visit or onsite, example WiFi, entrance code etc. we had to write each time to ask. A renter’s book might be helpful. Thanks.
