This exquisite property offers approximately 3,500 feet of beautiful shoreline, with 3 private sandy beaches and a long private peninsula providing a great place to take a daily walk “Straight to the Point” or for your 4 legged friend to run & play. Dogs are welcome!

If outdoor activities are what you are looking for – say no more!

Outdoors you will find a basketball and tennis court (great for pickleball too), volleyball net, corn hole boards, playground/swing set and a 80-yard football field complete with goal posts. Numerous paddles boards and double, single & youth kayaks are provided for an adventurous tour of the lake. Swimming is ideal – take a splash and swim to all 3 beaches. On the water we have a 20x30' dock. To finish it off, located at the tip of the peninsula is a par-4 hole and two putting greens. Oh and don’t forget the marshmallows, we also have a firepit stationed with Adirondack chairs to relax after a long day of play!

Straight to Heaven with this rental

We loved the house, the spacious room for all of our extended clan, the lake and dock which are incredible, and the grounds that has so much available to occupy our kids and grandkids. Appreciate that the house was well stocked with the basics, and the kitchen had most everything we needed. An excellent experience all around!!

The outdoors had so much for the kids to do. Being in a no wake zone it was very easy to paddleboard and kayak. They had so much fun fishing and in shallow water they could see the fish bite their hook. Great for kids who love the outdoors.

Excellent family getaway

Great Location and good outdoor amenities

The property is in a great location. The house itself is a bit dated, but the outdoors and the activities made up for it. The playground, the kayaks etc along with the location on the lake was perfect. The hosts were great and the communication was easy.

Great outdoor spaces

If you have great weather, this is a fantastic property for outdoor activities. Great little dock, basketball and field area were where we spent most of our time. Layout of indoor space less than ideal but didn't prevent us from playing pool and watching movies.

This house was amazing but the property was real story. It was a large penisula with a variety of available sporting activities which was great for our family. This place was a great for an extended family to unwind with real privacy. The rental people were very helpful when a small problem did arise. The owner was also very nice.

Great week-long stay

Had a great week at the house with 10 adult friends. Despite concerns, the internet was fine to handle the bandwidth including a couple folks working during the day and a streaming movie at night. The property is every bit as amazing as the photos. The house has a little wear and tear, but it overall in great shape. Good note is that this house is on the private (warm) side of lake Anna, so if you rent a boat at one of the marinas on the public side, you won’t be able to get the boat back to the house (the two sides of the lake are totally separated).

Birthday get away.

The property is beautiful and we did so many activities - pickleball, basketball, golf, volleyball, paddling, etc.! The stars were BEAUTIFUL at night out on the peninsula. The space was PERFECT. Our only issues (and I suppose these are minor) are as follows: the check in should be able to be handled via text and you shouldn't need to stop at the check in building, b) the check out time is early if you are expected to do all the check out procedures for the size of the house, e.g. not just washing dishes and leaving in the dishwasher, but also putting them away, and c) there also was not any shampoo.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and well maintained and equipped. The only issues that I thought should be improved is the Wi-Fi was almost non-existent. Also the water pressure dropped to a trickle if more than one person was taking a shower at a time, we kept running out of hot water. They are all easy fixes and I would recommend that be addressed.

Amazing Property

Overall.we had a fantastic time. We visit Lake Anna each year for a fishing trip. The fishing was great the entire time we were there. Off the boathouse or along the shoreline the fish were biting. The house was perfect. We only had 7 so at no time were we cramped. It has all the amenities you would need andnthen some. Very clean and a good.stock of kitchen wares and newer appliances. Since the propery is so big and the firepit is a bit away from the house we just had to plan our trips down there and bring anything we think we needed. But overall 10/10!!

Beautiful Home

This property was beautiful with lots of outside activities. My only complaint but it’s not really one…I did not understand why I needed to go 30 mins out of my way to checkin. I was handed an envelope that had the house code on it. I feel this could of been emailed to me. Also I called 4 times and left 2 messages to confirm check out procedures with no call back. Our family had a wonderful time and made lots of new memories. I couldn’t thank the home owners enforce sharing their home.

Nice getaway

10/20/23. Everything was wonderful except for the TVs. We were very excited to find TVs in every bedroom and the living room and a lounge area. Unfortunately, none of them worked very well for whatever reason. After we said something to the realty company, the owner eventually responded, saying that the remotes didn’t work well and a workaround was to push buttons on the Dish TV control box. This kind of worked, except when it didn’t. But, we weren’t there to watch TV and enjoyed all the many other amenities.

Straight On For You

We had a wonderful one-week vacation at Straight to the Point (STTP) in July 2025 - the house was better stocked than any vacation property we have ever rented. STTP's cabinets and closets were brimming with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, Ziploc bags, batteries and more. It was truly impressive. The kitchen was also well stocked with many plates, glasses, mugs, cooking utensils of every variety, pots and pans. We were happy to see two full refrigerators for our use. The large and sturdy dining room table was just perfect; we enjoyed sitting there for every meal. The house boasts 3 separate heating and cooling zones which was again the best we have ever had. We prefer a cool house and the A/C systems didn't miss a beat in keeping us cool and comfortable. One of the other best features which we didn't figure out until mid-week, was the stargazing ability from every outside deck/patio area. The one off of the primary bedroom, in particular, was fantastic. The large windows that looked out on the property and the lake were also spectacular and the billiards table a fun twist. There were many TVs in the house which ensured there were no conflicts over screen time. A super important yet easy-to-miss amenity was STTP's water softening system; many similarly isolated vacation homes operating on well water deliver tap water smelling like sulphur - STTP's water was soft, benign and actually tasty. This is a very large property with many seating areas and recreational options. The boathouse was a nice place to lounge in the afternoon where you could stay in the shade. The beach area closest to the boat house was also wonderful. Several well-placed trees shaded the sandy beach, which on a hot day was a real plus. The quality of the sand was also fantastic for kids; it felt and looked new and clean. The two other beach areas were a far walk and not as well maintained. There were also many kayaks of all sizes and paddleboards. The outdoor seating areas closer to the house were plentiful and fairly nice, but would have benefitted from some waterproof covers on all of the pieces not just the two we found upon our arrival. We looked forward to having the grandkids use the playground equipment, but there was a wasp nest in one area and after one child got stung, we stayed away from it. While we recognize there is not much the host can do about it, the amount of Canadian geese excrement on the long property made walking the property unpleasant.  While not an issue at all for the children in our party, Lake Anna's "warm side" water temperature was warmer than anticipated and not super refreshing (although it might be great in the wintertime!).
