We loved staying at this property! It was super comfortable, with a great kitchen. Everything was as good or better than the listing ... and the river view is spectacular. We highly recommend it!
I loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful inside and out. It had all the amenities you could possibly need plus extra thoughtful items. The view was spectacular and the access to the main road that leads to all the tourist attractions was so convenient. Our hostest was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to friends.

Ms. Shannon’s property is very clean, beautiful, and peaceful with an amazing view right by the Hudson River. You will get to watch the sunset and sunrise on your bed. The downtown is only 5 -minute drive and local people are very friendly.
I had a great time there with my family and will definitely come back when I have a chance.
Even bettet than expected. Unit was extraordinar-decor, cleanliness, outdoor space. All on the banks of the Hudson River. My wife and I had a great experience. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our short stay and would book this property again. If mother nature is on your side, 2 nights is too short of a stay to truly enjoy the view and water amenities. If your party includes someone who enjoys fishing, make sure you bring a rod or you will get the 'sad face' and 'guilt' for denying them the ability to lose lures.
The location of this home was absolutely beautiful! It provided the perfect getaway spot for a couple to see explore the Hudson Valley from a central location…that is if you ever want to leave the back deck that overlooks the Hudson river. My husband and I swung for hours on the bed swing having coffee in the morning while watching the leaves fall around us and we wound down at night sitting by the fire pit.On top of the fact that Shannon keeps this home in immaculate condition and provided necessary toiletries, was welcoming, courteous, and let us know she was available if there was anything we needed during our stay. Parking was easy, the bed and sofa were comfortable, and there was plenty of room to unwind. My husband and I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!
Property is overall quite clean, kitchen was well equipped, kudos to extra touches like popcorn packets for snacking. Host was also very reachable, and was willing to provide extras like new batteries for mosquito nets. We felt like we had the lake to ourseleves...can't beat the tranquility. One thing to note was that there were too much insects in the evening for us to use the balcony fully....but it comes with the location and the season I guess. Overall, would highly recommend this place.
The pictures don’t do it justice—you truly have to experience this place in person. Hands down, this is the nicest rental I’ve ever booked—not just because it was spotless, but because it’s truly one of a kind. The views of the wide, peaceful Hudson are absolutely breathtaking (and you're not on the train side, so you're literally right on the water). The beautifully landscaped garden and expansive outdoor space feel like a private sanctuary. With cozy furniture, a firepit, and thoughtful touches everywhere, it’s easy to forget the outside world exists. And while it feels like an escape, you still have all the modern comforts—from strong Wi-Fi to smart technology. If you’re looking for a romantic couples’ getaway that’s all about peace, privacy, and next-level relaxation, this is it. Book it now—before it lands on all the “best of” lists.
I enjoy being an experienced Superhost! I've been hosting for over 5 years. Although new to VRBO, my property has over 400 **5-star** guest reviews on another VERY POPULAR vacation rental platform.
My passion is making my home a better place to live, stay, work and play. I have three young sons who keep me on my toes. My motto is: 'Live happy. Love fiercely. Be true. Life is too short to be anything less than all in.'
Why they chose this property
The studio is situated in a rural setting that is extremely quiet, yet convenient to many nearby attractions. I am the property manager and live in the house next door. I generally keep to myself and prefer guests to check themselves in. This affords guests privacy, yet easy access and immediate service if you have questions about the property or nearby area.
What makes this property unique
What makes the studio unique is that it is extremely clean and has sweeping views of the river, stunning wildlife and offers privacy. I’m obsessed with keeping everything neat and tidy, and making sure my guests have a peaceful, relaxing visit.
