Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat just 5 miles from historic Guttenberg, Iowa. Situated on a bluff overlooking the majestic Mississippi River, you`ll love the amazing view.

This private property offers plenty of space with room for your boats and ATV`s. Gather in the large game room, or spread out across multiple living areas.

Enjoy the high-speed Starlink internet and complimentary access to YouTube TV and NFL Network.

This is the perfect getaway for groups up to 13.

You are welcome to use all spaces of the home including the back deck, front porch, attached garage and around the pond. The detached garage is currently being used to store boats and is not available for access.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Breathtaking morning sunrise. Simon was quick to answer all of our questions. If you are needing a place in the area this is the place to stay. Our family loved the pool table and large kitchen area to hang out. House had Everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Hidden Gem

This ‘shouse’ is a hidden gem in the Guttenberg, Iowa area. It feels and smells like new construction, is beautifully decorated, well stocked, exceptionally clean, and has an amazing view. Our group of 10 adults stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities! The only downside for our large group is it has only two bathrooms for as many people as it sleeps. However, we made it work for two nights. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space!

Why they chose this property

We love the Driftless area for all that it has to offer. From the charming small towns, to the many parks and recreational areas, you'll be sure to find something for everyone to enjoy! This home is located in a quiet neighborhood situated high on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. You'll find a stunning view sitting right from the front porch of our property. With 4 acres and a private pond you'll have plenty of space to spread out.

We're located just 5 minutes from Guttenberg and a public boat launch (located on S River Park Drive). Pike's Peak State Park is a short 15 minute drive and Prairie du Chien is about 25 minutes away. You'll want to check out the many small businesses located in Guttenberg. Some of our personal favorites are pizza at Joe's Pizza and Arcade and breakfast from Sodes Perk Central Coffee House & Cafe. You'll also find a very charming gift shop with many locally made items included locally crafted wine, beer and liquor.

Guttenberg's River Walk provides two levels of paved sidewalks that run parallel to the river. Includes several gazebos, grills, picnic tables, benches and public restrooms. Located along River Park Drive. Also check out the Farmer's Market from May-October every Saturday from 8am-12pm. 400 block S River Park Drive.

What makes this property unique

This home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 separate entertaining spaces. The open concept kitchen and dining allow your group to socialize together while cooking a meal in the fully stocked kitchen. Spend time in the living room with a comfortable power reclining sofa or out in the 4 seasons room where you'll find board games and a shuffleboard. Featuring 4 smart TV's and excellent WiFi, there will be no fighting over what to watch.

When the weather allows you'll want to spend time on the back deck grilling or just enjoying a fire with your group. Feel free to take a walk around the private pond or set up a picnic somewhere along the cleared path.
