The Idle Hour cabin is a year round rental, fully furnished and outfitted for convenience and comfort. The cabin sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms. It does have a sectional couch in the living room for sleeping also. You will enjoy the fully furnished kitchen with microwave, stove, and refrigerator with icemaker. The lower level is a fully screened in gathering room with a wet bar and a full size refrigerator. The half bathroom on the lower level includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. The Idle hour has front and rear decks, with a charcoal grill, and a campfire pit. Located 12 miles south of Prairie du Chien, WI the Idle Hour is 1 block from the general store and 2 blocks from the boat landing the River of Lakes Resort. ( Come fish the mighty Mississippi or take advantage of the variety of outdoor and water recreational opportunities. The Idle Hour has something for everyone.

This place was perfect for us (4 adults and 2 kids). Very comfortable, nice living room area upstairs, well stocked, very convenient to the river and fishing. We panfish and caught a lot of fish, had the area almost to ourselves (early October). About 25 minutes south of Prairie du Chien.

My husband and I, along with our 17&19 yr old kids loved our 2 day stay at this cute cabin, it was clean, smelled fresh, was decorated nicely had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed playing trivia games and cribbage in the evenings after exploring nearby Wyalusing State Park all day. It was in a friendly neighborhood. The hosts were responsive and super nice. Thanks for everything!

We loved this place. The bar area with screened in room was great! We are already talking about staying here again! The only thing I could say bad was the lighting in the kitchen could be brighter. But certainly not a deal breaker! Highly recommend staying here.

Our son and family have a seasonal so we rented this house to spend the weekend with them. 2 minute ride to their spot. Older but well maintained. Downstairs was perfect for dinner and to get away from bugs! AC was cold and neighbors friendly. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Nice cabin. We mostly there to sleep. Could have used a good deeper cleaning. Found wrappers behind beds and couch.and a pair of reading glasses that we left on the top shelf of canoe found behind chair. Otherwise definitely would recommend to others.
