This historic home was built in 1888 by Louis Singer, chief bricklayer to renowned architect Cass Gilbert who built the MN State Capitol. Louis forged the bricks for 192 Charles Ave in the backyard next door while building the house. The space has a relaxing, peaceful aura. Tall, light-filled windows and high ceilings make the space feel light and open. Details like exposed brick and hardwood floors bring a classic, historic touch. This is the second of two private units in the house. A kitchen is not included. There are two flights of stairs. Included are: Bedroom with a full bed, work station and closet space (floor 2); Bedroom with a full bed (floor 2); Light-filled living room (floor 2); Mini fridge, microwave, coffee station, TV, seating and tables (floor 2); Loft + bedroom with a queen bed, a twin bed, lounge, work space, and closet space (floor 3); Half-bath shower (floor 2), half-bathroom (floor 1), full bathroom with a claw foot tub (floor 3)
