The Highlander Cottage is located directly across from Radford University. Beautiful new deck that overlooks Kyle Hall and the rest of the campus. Walking distance to the Highlander Hotel, restaurants, and of course, campus. This peaceful setting has everything that you will need for a visit to the New River Valley. Large yard and very private, it is truly an oasis in Radford that cannot be beat in terms of a central location.
House includes a full kitchen with everything one would need. Full bath plus half bath with 3 bedrooms. Wifi and smart televisions in the den and bedrooms. Clothes washer and dryer as well.

Stayed a few days to move my daughter in to college. Location is ideal for parents of Radford U students. A lot of Stairs from the back parking area, so be aware. Easy to access nd beds were very comfortable.

We enjoy being hosts to share our home with folks who are experiencing a son or daughters' graduation, start of college, football games, parent visits or simply in town for work. I have been in the hospitality industry for years and truly enjoy being a VRBO host.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and excellent for walking but the reason that we choose this property was because of the location directly across from campus. Being located on an elevated location above campus gives you a fantastic view of the campus grounds and the mountains in the background. Super walkable location for everything RU!

What makes this property unique

Our house is 100 years old but has been fully updated. The view is the showstopper, but it has all of the modern conveniences that you would need for a weekend getaway to a long-term stay.
