About this property

Large Waterfront Home Nestled in Bamboo Forest with Private Pool, Burlington NC

This secluded, three-story home is located on a private 10-acre compound in a bamboo forest in Burlington. A quiet and scenic location, it is convenient to the I-85/I-40 corridor, restaurants, medical care, shopping and Elon University. Floor to ceiling windows overlook a large inground pool with lots of outdoor seating and a two-acre fishing pond with a gazebo, and 2 kayaks.Featuring hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace and a sunroom, the 4,500 square foot house will sleep up to 15 people. The first floor's open plan provides a spacious den, kitchen and dining area, not far from a ground floor master bedroom with private bath and large walk in closet.High speed internet, TV, ceiling fans, washer/dryer and more round out the offerings. The second floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's even a pool table in the basement, along with another bedroom and bath. Bamboo surrounds the perimeter of the property along with Japanese maples and prolific flowers in warm months. We look forward to sharing our property with you.

A great house for a gathering. So secluded and peaceful. In the backyard, right outside the door, we saw deer, groundhogs, and so many birds. The squeaky floors kept us from sneaking for late night snacks, kept us in giggles. Everybody enjoyed.

Perfect house for our daughter’s small baby shower and family reunion. Lots of room to spread out and wish it was warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool. Host was super friendly and extremely accommodating to our needs. We’ll be back again.

This property was a nice, relaxing spot for us to spend time during a soccer tournament weekend with our teenage girls. The house fit 10 people comfortably (although one mom/daughter was in the basement which is not ideal, as its a little "scary" and cold with the eerie fireplace and no carpeting. The house is outdated and needs some slight renovations (i.e. new outdoor furniture would be nice) but very functional and fully stocked kitchen and loads of towels and blankets. The pool was great and mornings by the pond were calming, quiet and lovely. The house was convenient to the highway to get to Greensboro and Raleigh/Durham. Clint was very kind and responsive and even popped over, so we were able to meet him and he gave us a history of this really unique property. Highly recommend for a larger group!

High Point University Graduation

Awesome Property

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving retreat with our family! The property is gorgeous. We really enjoyed walking around the property and viewing the beautiful ornamental trees, and landscape! Although it’s fall, we could just imagine a wonderful family vacation here in the summer with the beautiful pool!

Nice location. Pool was fun for all. There's no hot tub as listed in amenities. Only issue we had was upstairs bedroom got very warm from afternoon sun beating in the windows. Some insulated drapes would greatly help. Felt private from neighbors and nice view from porch of the pool and pond. Good for families.

Perfect for our wedding weekend!

We decided to rent this house for our out of town wedding party during our wedding weekend. Everyone was so impressed! The location was perfect and the yard was beautiful. The beds were all around comfortable and there was so much space for everyone to hang out and relax. It was also great to have plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We really enjoyed our weekend here.

Beautiful setting!!

We were in town for our daughter's wedding. The location was perfect and the house was just the right size. Our host was was friendly and shared a little about the property and the other houses surrounding it.
