The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. 15 mins to beech mountain to snowboard. The views were amazing when the sun was out. Loved seeing all the deer when you walked outside. Super easy to get to unless it’s snows, you would have to get chains for the car and use a 4WD. We were so pleased and impressed. Definitely would go back!
Overall a good place to stay if you are heading to Beech. Clean for a dog friendly house. Needs some updates to the fixtures (e.g. doors not closing all the way and bathroom showers and out door lights). Unique indoor decor and dishes for sure but the kitchen was well stocked! Great views from the deck
The home itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by major issues related to access, safety, and maintenance. Prior to booking, we asked detailed questions about winter access and were told the driveway would be shoveled before arrival — it was not. There was over a foot of snow, no exterior lighting, and the address was difficult to locate on Google Maps, which made arriving in icy conditions stressful and unsafe. Our car became stuck, guests slipped on ice, and there was no running water when we arrived. WiFi was unstable, which delayed communication about urgent issues. Inside, one bed had only a metal frame with no support boards, making it unusable until we moved the mattress to the floor. Just to name a few other issues that came up. With accurate information and proper preparation, this could have been a great stay— but the lack of transparency and follow-through made it a frustrating experience.

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the difficulties you experienced during your stay. The snowfall was heavier than expected, which unfortunately impacted driveway access. Once we understood the severity of the conditions, we sent staff out late at night to shovel and improve the situation as quickly as possible. We are very sorry for the stress this caused, including your vehicle getting stuck and guests encountering icy areas. The lack of exterior lighting, navigation challenges, water disruption, unstable WiFi, and the bed frame issue are all unacceptable. We are actively addressing each of these concerns to ensure they do not happen again. We are also reviewing our communication and preparation procedures to ensure better accuracy, transparency, and follow-through moving forward. We truly regret the frustration this experience caused. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention so we can make the necessary improvements.
