OCRA APARTMENT is located on the second and last floor of an independent house of three floors / apartments, two of which are inhabited by me with my partner and by my father with uncle.

The structure is a classic lake house, with a large garden, built over 150 years ago by my grandparents with stones from the lake and completely restored by my parents.
It is located in Lezzeno, a small village on the beautiful Lake Como, in the quiet hamlet of "Cendraro lago".

OCRA APARTMENT is spacious and can accommodate up to 6 people because with its 110 square meters, furnished with care, it can afford large rooms for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 open space for cooking, dining and relaxation areas.

OCRA APARTMENT is bright for its rooms exposed to natural light with large windows and French windows opening onto 3 balconies from where you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets over the lake.

OCRA APARTMENT offers a comfortable and welcoming environment with a cooking area equipped with an electric oven, a dishwasher, 4 gas burners, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, coffee makers, cutlery, dishes, pans and pots.
Comfortable the dining table as well as the relaxation area with 2 armchairs and 1 sofa with sat TV.
Decorated with personal choices of pillows, curtains, bedspreads, sofa covers, candles and flowers.
There is a very good wi-fi connection.

20 meters away the property, there is the free private parking and on request the possibility of a space to store bicycles or small items.

The location of OCRA APARTMENT is very attractive because the apartment is within walking distance of 1 MiniMarket open from Monday to Saturday, 1 bar open every day, a public beach with shower, restaurants and pizzerias with Italian cuisine and public transport .

It is an ideal place to spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday thanks to a surprising and fascinating landscape of a thousand different shades of blue and green water, with rocky hills covered by woods and a fascinating naturalistic coastline.

There is also the possibility to practice water sports, 200 meters away, at the International Center for water skiing and wake-board or mountain sports such as trekking and hiking.

Public transport such as buses and boats allow you to reach authentic villages and ancient villas rich in history and wonder, such as Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como, Villa del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta and Villa Monastero.

I personally welcome my guests from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (in case of delay contact me) and I offer useful information for a pleasant stay.
I am also available for restaurant reservations, boat rentals, excursions or any other needs.

The tourist tax of € 1 per person per day up to a maximum of 7 days is excluded from the price. Children up to 7 years are exempt.
If necessary, the heating cost of € 1,5 per cubic meter is excluded. The apartment has an independent methane gas system.

Nice apartment a few minutes away from the beach

We really liked staying in Lezzeno (felt less touristy than other villages on the lake) and the apartment was perfect for our family (3 adults, 2 children) and only a few minutes of walk to the beach. Also walking distance from a few restaurants.The only negative point is that the apartment did get pretty hot as it doesn't have AC or fans.

This was a FANTASTIC apartment and Lezzeno is a welcome break from all of the busy tourist locations. The village is welcoming and the people are friendly and helpful and make you feel like part of the community. Gina went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! She helped guide us to find what we needed, how to get there, where to eat, and where to visit. She and her family were so gracious and truly made this our most memorable vacation. The apartment is perfecto! It is clean, spacious, and has everything you need. The view from the terraces is everything! It is also a great location to visit other towns and has great restaurants to choose from. We cannot wait to return!

Incredible return visit, and we have already booked next summer’s stay! The property is immaculate and offers wonderful views and proximity to shoreline for swimming. Location is fabulous to enjoy independent boating, hiking trails and sightsee by ferry or car. For Americans like us, it’s a wonderful opportunity to relax and respectfully experience life in an Italian community. We are dog owners with dogs as family members throughout life though we don’t travel overseas with family animals. There are a variety of pets in the neighborhood which are wonderful to see as kids and families enjoy walks. You may expect barking whenever outdoors in evenings enjoying a meal or relaxing, and though pets are not running loose on Gina’s beautiful, five star property, the neighborhood life is vibrant and active for all including pets.

Lovely Lezzeno

We loved staying in Lezzeno! It was near everything like the hustle and bustle of Bellagio but the pace in Lezzeno is perfect. The bar, market and gelateria had everything we needed and the Stone house had incredible food for all meals. The lake was steps away and a beautiful place to relax and swim. The apartment was a great size and had everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend more. Would definitely come back!

Great hosts, apartment and location.

Gina and Chris were amazing. They provided us with helpful information about the area and gave us a thorough orientation to the apartment, which was lovely, clean and well equipped. The views of Lake Como were as advertised. Our hosts went above and beyond in helping us with transportation when one of our group hurt her knee. They are special people with an apartment that we loved.

We enjoyed our stay but a few easy changes would help

Great apartment in a great location. There is a mini mart, bar and Gelato place next door. This is all very convenient and added to the over all enjoyment of our stay. A small beach is just a few steps away, we swam, had lunch and enjoyed this very much. What would make this place much better is more comfortable mattresses and more luxurious pillows. A few hundred dollars and a trip to IKEA for some new premium mattresses and pillows would go a long way to making visitors enjoy this place more. Gina and Ami were both helpful and made our stay pleasant. The grounds are impeccable and maintained. Much respect to Gina and her Partner for maintaining this place so well.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

We feel so lucky that we got to spend the month of July in this amazing apartment and get to know Gina "Bruna" and her partner, Andres. The apartment itself is just perfect -- clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need. It has THREE balconies -- each with beautiful views of Lake Como. We spent hours and hours sitting on the balconies and marveling at the lake and the magical village of Lezzeno below. The location is great, with a bus stop just around the corner, and the ferry about a 10- to 15-minute walk. The lake is just steps away, and we enjoyed having picnics at the lake and dipping in the incredibly clean and cool water on hot evenings. Also -- we really enjoyed the Stone House restaurant which is about a one-minute walk from the apartment and the Aurora Restaurant, which is less than a 10-minute walk. Even better than all of this was the gracious hosts! Bruna and Andres always went above and beyond to help us with all of our needs -- even picking up groceries and wine for us when they were in Como. We also enjoyed some dinners out that were just fantastic. We now consider them great friends and can't wait to visit them in Lezzeno in the future! We HIGHLY recommend staying here -- you won't regret it!

We just spent a wonderful week at Gina’s apartment. The apartment itself is spotless, modern and has every convenience you might need and the views of the water and mountains are fabulous. The apartment is very well appointed and Gina was very generous about giving us information about the town and surrounding areas and making sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. One thing that made our stay especially enjoyable was how friendly and kind Gina and her partner, Andres, are. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed really anxious for us to have a great time and see as much of the area as possible. Also many people in town know Gina and like her so they were especially nice to us, as her guests. We even got a special deal on a boat rental because we mentioned her name to the owner. The local people we met in the town were extremely friendly. The staff at some restaurants remembered our names and the master of ceremony at a local concert invited us for a “cold beer” after the concert. All of this made us feel like very welcome guests. The restaurants in town are quite good. There are at least four that are within easy walking distance from the apartment. The ferry dock was reasonably close as was the bus stop to travel just about anywhere you might want around Lake Como. And the town itself is very picturesque, peaceful and non-touristy. Almost everyone we saw In the restaurants were locals. We can’t wait to come back. It was a very memorable trip.

Best Apt Stay Yet

We have stayed in a number of apartments in Europe and this has by far been the best stay. In fact, we ended up extending our stay a day since we loved it so much! First---the apartment: It was incredibly clean, with comfortable beds and a balcony w/great views. We also very much enjoyed terrace on the ground level under the kiwi vines! Second---the location: It could not have been better. The town is in a perfect place...not filled with tourists, but close enough to the major sights. We drove up to the next village (Bellagio) twice during our stay. The books we read said Bellagio was the best lake village in Italy and I can't disagree. From there, we hopped on a ferry and visited a number of other villages and villas. The apartment is also right next door to a coffee bar (with cheap and delicious cappuccinos) which also served pizzas during the day and beer at night. There was also a great little grocery there. A 10 minute walk brought us to an amazing pizzeria at the Hotel Aurora that had the best pasta I have ever tasted (pear pasta with cheese). Finally, the people: Bruna and her dad and uncle were great. They met us there and helped bring our luggage up, and fixed anything we needed during the stay. Bruna was an excellent host. I would highly recommend this place. For the money, you can't beat it. I spent hours looking for a place and couldn't have been happier with my choice. We hope to come back someday!

The location of this apartment was absolutely perfect! It was spacious and easily accommodated 6 guests. The views were breathtaking, it is a 3 minute walk to the lake, a 2 minute walk to Stone House Restaurant (a superb & delicious restaurant, we ate here for almost every meal during our stay!) and also a 2 minute walk to the nearest store. The apartment is very clean and very cozy! It has everything one could possibly need, it feels like home away from home. The view from the balcony was my absolute favorite to have coffee every morning and take in the views. The kitchen & dining room area was very spacious, even for 6 people! Gina & Eduardo are very gracious, kind and welcoming hosts! We really enjoyed our stay here and loved this location. I look forward to coming back again!

Appartement confortable et très bien situé

Gina est très sympathique. On trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans l’appartement, la literie est de bonne qualité. 2 salles de bain c’est pratique. Tout est impeccablement propre. Les restaurants à quelques minutes à pied sont d’un bon rapport qualité prix, deux d’entre eux ont une vue magnifique sur le lac. A 10mn de Bellagio et 1/2 heure de Côme par une très belle route de montagne. On peux se rendre en bateau un peu partout autour du lac à partir du petit port de Lezzeno. Après une journée de tourisme c’est très agréable de se reposer dans cet appartement.

Wij zijn zeer te spreken over zowel de eigenaresse als het appartement. Zij is heel behulpzaam en was goed bereikbaar. Het appartement ligt op een goede locatie in een woonwijk, dus tussen de Italiaanse bevolking, zeker een pluspunt. Het appartement is op de 3e etage, met uitzicht op het meer. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien, heel compleet.

Very nice place full equipped (especially kitchen). There are everything you need. All three bedrooms are spacious. The hole space is very nice decorated. All balconies are functional with amazing view on the lake. The beach is near the place, market and restaurant is also near. Lezzeno is good for accommodation and have a good position for lake tour. Special compliments for owner Ginna which is very friendly and polite. She provided all necessary information about lake and suggested us about most interesting places which should visit. Guests who guests who knew how to enjoy the beauty of our lake in a very simple way and who knew how to appreciate all that nature offered while sitting on the terrace facing the lake even if only to hear the silence of the night under a starry sky. Or stay immersed in the green of our mountains or savor the benefits of lake water. Thanks again for staying in my apartment and I hope to see you again.

Wunderbarer Balkon mit Seeblick:)

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Gina. Auf dem großen Balkon konnten wir super die Abende mit wunderschönem Ausbild genießen. Gina war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. Geheimtipps gab's direkt dazu! Vielen lieben Dank für alles :)

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub am Comer See im Apartment von Gina trotz des durchwachsenen Wetters sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist gerade für eine Familie ideal, da sie viel Platz bietet und hervorragend ausgestattet ist. Der Ausblick von den Balkonen ist wunderbar und durch den überaus kurzen Weg zum See sind wir oft schwimmen gewesen. Gina ist eine unglaublich aufmerksame und hilfreiche Gastgeberin, wir haben sehr von ihren Tipps zu Restaurants, Fährzeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. profitiert. Vielen Dank nochmal, Gina, wir kommen gerne wieder!!

I’m Gina Vaccani and I'm retired.
I was born in Lezzeno and I live in Lezzeno with my boyfriend, my father and his brother.
I started renting my apartments to know new people and to learn and practice English.
I take care personally of the bookings and the check-in/check-out.
My family and I are proud of our apartments and we are committed to responding to any need of our guests.

Why they chose this property

My property was passed down through the generations. It's a characteristic house of the Como Lake. My grandparents had a local restaurant in this house and so downstairs there is a large cellar where the grandparents produced wine for their customers. My father was fisherman and he catched fishes for his parents. My father and uncle were also carpenters and they made windows and doors in this village and so in Lezzeno everybody know them.

What makes this property unique

One of the few houses in the village with the private parking very close.
In fact the property can be reached by car.

It is located in a quiet area.

The apartment is surrounded by 3 balconies, many windows and French window that allow a 360 degree view of Lake Como and the mountains and lots of brightness.

The house where there is the "Ocra apartment" is surrounded on 2 sides by a garden with a kiwi gazebo, olive trees, beeches and azaleas.
The garden is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers for sunbathing or relaxing.

A few steps away are a grocery shop, a bar and a free beach called "Il Salice" where you can sunbathe and take a refreshing swim in the calm waters of Lake Como.

A short distance away are the bus stop that connects Como with Bellagio, restaurants, the European Center for water skiing and wakeboarding.

The Lake Como invites you to take boat trips to reach famous places such as Bellagio, Varenna, Cadenabbia, Lenno known for their ancient villas with splendid gardens, for the medieval and Renaissance churches, for the winding alleys with suggestive views of the lake.
The pier from where the boats leave is 1 kilometer away, it is located in the center of the my village where there are also the pharmacy, the clinics of 2 doctors, the post office, the main church, the bank and the town hall.

The mountain with its hinterland invites to go for walks, hikes, trekking, but also bicycle or mountain bike tours.

The hospitality and the owner are always present.
