Harbor III is centrally located across the street from Silver Lake Harbor with both harbor and lighthouse views from a small observation deck. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is located on the third floor of a three unit building which includes a coffee/ice cream shop on the lower level. Retail hours are from early morning until late evening. Two Bedrooms, 1 Bath: 1 with Queen, 1 with a Twin Bed. Bath has shower stall. Open living, dining, and kitchen with a small deck off the dining area. Amenities include complimentary wireless internet access, AC/heat wall unit, and cable TV. The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. No Washer and Dryer. No Pets. Sheets and towels provided. Beds made for your arrival. No Smoking or Vaping. Limit of 2 vehicles. Can’t stay an entire week? This home is in the Stay Your Way program and can be reserved in advance with any arrival and departure date. Your “mini-vacation” is subject to a three-night minimum. Yes, even in the summer! Stay Your Way homes can be booked months in advance. Property Layout: Third floor single story unit: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Bedroom with Queen. Great views and location

Clean property, with great views and aaesome location. Within a walk or quick bikeride to groceries, multiple resturants, shops, shuttle stops, etc. For me it was the perfect location.

September 2016 Stay

My husband and I spent a week on Ocracoke Island for the harbor ambiance and relaxation and got just what we wanted. We always choose destinations that combine nature and history, so this was perfect. We've day-tripped there before and knew a week-long stay would afford us time to explore every nook and cranny of the island while still being able to relax and stick to our daily walking routine. And still, we didn't get to everything! Staying over the Slushy Stand ice cream and coffee shop was great - convenient and a great view, friendly people.

Vacation April 2024

I had a week in between jobs and wanted to get away from everything for a week. My wife and I chose Ocracoke. The communication and check in process were fantastic. Very clear and timely instructions. The description is accurate and the location is unbeatable. You can leave your car there and walk to anywhere you want. No more than a 1/2 mile walk to anywhere in the village you want. Only 20 minutes from the Hatteras ferry as well. The coffee/ice cream shop on the base level was closed indefinitely. Just keep that in mind if you're looking for fresh coffee in the morning(if you're not making your own). Be advised that this is a 3rd floor unit and you do have a unit underneath. The walls are pretty thin as are the floors. So, you do hear people underneath you. It wasn't very bad, but you can hear quite clearly. The bathroom has heated floors(which were very nice), a drip coffee maker(bring your own filters(althought we left quite a few), a Keurig(bring your own pods), and full kitchen. We did have problems with the stove, but they quickly sent a repair person over to fix the problem. You have a great view of Silver Lake and awesome sunsets! Overall, this stay met our expectations and we had a nice activity filled as well as restful week. Would definitely stay again in the future.
