Given the available photos and previous reviews, we had high expectations for this rental experience. Is is possible those expectations were even realistic enough?! Everything about our rental experience - from the reservation, communication with the owners, thoroughness of the house/property descriptions, and the actual property itself - was excellent. One particularly thoughtful and super helpful inclusion was the Pink Binder. This was a number of pages of recommendations from the owners covering places to eat, things to do, and instructions for various property items (grill, firepit, etc). We extensively used the hot tub, pool (very cold in October, but nice to briefly jump into after the hot tub!), and the grill. While there, we went to the Giant Rock (make sure your vehicle is ready for the rough and sandy ride back there), the Integratron (the sound bath is well worth the money spent), and the JT National Park (phenomenal landscape - see if you can locate the four headed rock formation near Skull Rock!). We also traveled back into Palm Springs a couple of times (for sure go Thursday evenings for the Village Fest - tons of local artists and food vendors take up quite a few city blocks).Ours was a great experience - one we hope to replicate in 2027. The hosts were wonderful and provide an equally wonderful place to stay directly in the desert!
We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were quick to answer any questions and the house was very clean and tidy. Will be staying here again

We are very excited that you enjoyed your stay and will be returning in the future! You left the house in excellent condition and we really appreciate that. Thank you and we look forward to hosting you again!
This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and it does not disappoint. It has a great setup -- cute house, great outdoor activities, quiet, with a great desert landscape. We enjoyed the addition of the pool since our last visit, and played bocce, cornhole, and made use of the hot tub and cold plunge. Highly recommended!
Spotless home. Comfy beds. Beautiful views. Great outdoor amenities. Fantastic communication with host. TLDR: Lots of thoughtful amenities like outdoor blankets for cold nights and towels for the spa. We traveled with our teen but could absolutely come with 2 couples and each feel like you had your own privacy. Plenty of outdoor games to keep your kids amused and out of the house. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed and more. It is a 3 min drive to the Great Rock Meeting Room for take out or eat in - highly recommended. Far enough out to get amazing dark sky views but close enough to JT that you aren’t exhausted by the drive. There is a short bit of bumpy dirt road that might slow you down if you aren’t in an SUV. You’re in the desert and dirt is going to blow around and get you and your stuff dusty. Embrace it and enjoy the expansive views!

Melissa and her family were very good guests! They communicated really good and left the house in great condition. Also, they informed us of the wonderful things we added, that worked very good, for the pleasures of our guest. Would definitely host her again in the future!
