We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was a great fit for our family of six. While it is on the smaller side, we spent very little time inside because we like to make the most of our travel days. It was perfect for preparing a quick breakfast, showering, getting a good night's sleep, and regrouping before heading out for the next adventure. If you're visiting from the United States, there is a bit of a learning curve with some of the appliances, but that's part of the fun of experiencing a different country. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive both before and during our stay. She answered all of our questions promptly and even took a late-night phone call to help us troubleshoot an error message on the combo washer/dryer, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment can be a little tricky for drivers to locate because the entrance is tucked just off the main road. We found it helpful to stand at the entrance or give tour guides and taxi drivers a heads-up about the location when arranging pickups. The nearby bus stop made it easy to get into the Eyre Square area, although we chose taxis on a couple of evenings when the bus schedule was less predictable. Having the Tesco Express just across the street was also very convenient for morning coffee and picking up a few groceries and essentials.Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient home base for exploring Galway, and we had a wonderful stay. We would happily recommend it to other travelers.
