The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave bed linens on beds unmade. Leave used towels on bathroom floors - *Please do not leave damp/wet laundry on any of the wood flooring. Assure all indoor & outdoor lights are off.
Take garbage to outdoor bin (*must be bagged in kitchen size bags or larger). Please do not use neighbors bins. Turn air on 80 degrees & heat on 60 degrees. Ensure the grill is off and covered.
Assure all entry doors are closed and locked (Please don’t lock the door knob - only the dead bolts) Leave dock furniture, foam lily pad and kayak as you found them - securely strapped
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Maximum 4 vehicles. No parking on the road.
All trash must be in kitchen size trash bags or larger prior to placing in bin at road. There is an additional bin besdie house.
Please don't leave anything damp or wet on wood flooring.

The house and property were absolutely amazing and so very peaceful. 12 of us stayed and enjoyed every minute. Owner was gracious, kind and accommodating and met all of our needs and wants. You really can’t find a better property owner. We will be back for another visit soon. This was a 10 star weekend for my birthday trip.

Beautiful property. Nice house. Great access to the water. Fire pit. Comfortable beds. Soft towels. Neighborhood dogs are friendly. We had a great stay and will use them again.

We had an awesome time!This property and location on the lake was perfect for our family summer birthday adventure!! The host was prompt and informative with communication. The property exceeded online photos. The layout of the house was great for our family. The s’mores kit was a nice added touch and kids had a fab time with them. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property!!

March 2025

We had a great mini-vacation at Bushy Creek this week. The house was perfect for our family of 6 (and a dog) and was very clean and seemed fairly updated. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, and an open living space, there was more than enough space for everyone in our family. There were large “smart” flatscreen TV’s in 3 of the bedrooms, as well as phone chargers and plenty of accessible outlets. Outside, there’s a great porch with ceiling fans and chairs, a nice patio and a fire pit where we had a fire every night. We also grilled out every night on a large, clean gas grill. The dock was in good condition, with a large lily pad that our kids played on. The house is only a 5 minute drive to Arley, so we were able to do a “quick” run to the store for anything we needed. The owners were great. When we arrived, there were a lot of sticks, branches and other debris around the dock that were deposited there by the prior week’s storms and tornados. We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the water with no way out of our contract, but the owner was easy and offered to give us a refund. That gave us the confidence to stay one day at a time, which allowed us to see the debris clear up every afternoon and experience the fun we had around the fire pit every night. We ended up staying the whole time and had a great family trip. We’re definitely going back!
