Escape to the serene beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and experience the charm of our large classic cabin nestled in the heart of West Virginia. Our cozy yet spacious retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic ambiance and modern amenities, ensuring a memorable getaway for families, friends, or couples.

Very private. -If needed, the thermostat (heat only - there is no A/C) is on the main floor on the pillar near the
kitchen.
a. If you have problems operating the thermostat, please let the property manager know and we can provide instructions and/or set the temperature remotely.
b. The baseboard heaters are for emergency use only, please do not turn any of these on
without contacting the property manager or owner first.

-It doesn't usually get very hot, even in the middle of summer, but feel free to use the window
fans if it gets too warm or stuffy in the cabin; they usually work best with one at the top of the basement stairs pulling fresh air in, and another one in the window by the TV pushing air out.
A third fan in the main floor bedroom at night may also help.

A. Please make sure all the baseboard heat thermostats are still off. 8. If you used the outside grill, please be sure it is cold, covered, and the gas tank is closed
Please make sure all the windows are closed and latched. &make sure all water faucets are closed and no toilets are running when you leave.
Please make sure the refrigerator and freezer are closed and the range and oven are off. Please make sure the fireplace is cold, the fan is off, and the damper is closed
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
